Vino Third Ward - Wine Bar & Store

I'm not sure if this was a chaotic, last minute situation but the girl who served us was dressed like she just rolled out of bed, with a 20 year old Guns 'n Roses T-shirt, faded and washed out with ill-fitting jeans. Not what you would expect a server to be wearing in a pricey wine establishment. She had zero knowledge of wines or grape pronunciations. Wasn't warm or engaging. The wines by the glass selection were mediocre to poor. The air con was out and was like sitting in a sauna. We won't be returning.

This is my favorite place to go for a glass of wine, besides my couch. Whenever friends or family visit me I’m always excited to bring them here. The service is always great, especially when Ryan is there.

Their selection is almost exclusively new world stuff at price points around 30 and up. That's fine and all if it's your thing, but I would have appreciated at least a bottle or two of something continental under $40.

We were exploring the third ward neighborhood in Milwaukee and saw this place and we're glad we stopped. The bartender was very nice and offered recommendations for the wonderful wine selections

We stopped in here for a quick drink before going back to our hotel. The guy behind the bar was incredibly nice and friendly! We thought things were priced very fair, and loved that you could buy a bottle and enjoy it there. Very chill atmosphere, would recommend!

my favourite bar in the third ward. House is very reasonably priced and the bartenders, Ryan and Rachel, make it a very welcoming environment. Ryan is very knowledgeable and always recommends something i would like. Rachel is very friendly and a great server. i regularly come for the game night, very fun place to unwind after a busy day!

Not professionally ran. The male bartender was knowledgeable and welcoming but the female began insulting a customer for nothing more than a difference on opinion. I sat back and observed the female manager constantly mumbling insults about “those people” under her breath. She seemed to get her friend group to attack this person with slander and snide comments as well. It seemed like she dislikes when attention isn’t on her. Very immature for someone managing an alcoholic beverage venue. I’ll be taking my money away from people who operate like a high school clique.

Tasty wine and great service! Perfect place for a tasting/flight. Cozy vibes and reasonable prices. Loved it here!

Bingo on Wednesdays, Trivia on Thursdays and wine flights daily. I love this place!

I had a private holiday party at Vino Third Ward. What an outstanding choice for a venue. The GM went out of her way to anticipate my requests and even made custom menus. And our bartender was professional and efficient and loved by all. I encourage you to stop in and try them out!
