We stopped in here for a quick drink before going back to our hotel. The guy behind the bar was incredibly nice and friendly! We thought things were priced very fair, and loved that you could buy a bottle and enjoy it there. Very chill atmosphere, would recommend!

Overall, it was an okay experience. The pours were small for the price, but the wines we tasted were good. I would have liked to hear more about the wines, too. I'm glad we tried it but there are other wine bars in the area with a better tasting experience.

my favourite bar in the third ward. House is very reasonably priced and the bartenders, Ryan and Rachel, make it a very welcoming environment. Ryan is very knowledgeable and always recommends something i would like. Rachel is very friendly and a great server. i regularly come for the game night, very fun place to unwind after a busy day!

Not professionally ran. The male bartender was knowledgeable and welcoming but the female began insulting a customer for nothing more than a difference on opinion. I sat back and observed the female manager constantly mumbling insults about “those people” under her breath. She seemed to get her friend group to attack this person with slander and snide comments as well. It seemed like she dislikes when attention isn’t on her. Very immature for someone managing an alcoholic beverage venue. I’ll be taking my money away from people who operate like a high school clique.

On my visit to Milwaukee from the Chicago suburbs, I came across this delightful, cozy wine bar and am so happy to have experienced it. The selection of wines by the glass is impressive and very affordable, they have a great variety of bottles for purchase and the space is lovely. Rachel, the manager, was fantastic and offers great service. Wish they had a 2nd location near my home!
This is the absolutely the best wine bar....bar none (no pun intended)....all because of Ryan. I have never met anyone as knowledgeable and personable as Ryan. And believe you me I have been to a many a tastings at wineries and tasting rooms. Ryan knows his wines like it's second nature. He made some great recommendations. It like being in a sushi bar and getting the "Omakase". I will be back for many a tastings with Ryan. Thanks for being who you are and delivering an unforgettable experience!

A surprising get-away that isn't overcrowded. We greatly enjoyed Trivia Night and will be back. Very small bar . . . but it is a place for wine, so the selection should be focused there, not on the cocktails, which I favor.For limited staffing, they do a great job of paying attention to all clientele and staying on top of things.

Highly recommend! Our server (Ryan?) was very welcoming and helpful. We had him pick our wine flight of 3 (generous pours) and cheese plate (the dill havarti was super yummy). The prices were good and it was nice to chat with people at the bar. They even do bingo on Wednesday nights at 6:30.

I had a private holiday party at Vino Third Ward. What an outstanding choice for a venue. The GM went out of her way to anticipate my requests and even made custom menus. And our bartender was professional and efficient and loved by all. I encourage you to stop in and try them out!
