Great beer and great atmosphere. Definitely going to make this a regular spot.
Stopped by on Saturday before the "A Christmas Story" showing at the Pabst Theater and had a FANTASTIC time! First time, definitely NOT the last time. Wish we could have stayed longer, or been there to see some live magic! Had several of the beers(Tell the Bees, Secret Handshake, & First Rabbit) and was extremely satisfied with all of them.
Awesome hidden away place for some beer! We did the random roll for a flight of 4 beers and we were not disappointed with any of them! We even got some extra beers to sample after mentioning beers that we like, and even saw a magic trick performed by the owner. He's incredibly knowledgeable about what he does and it was a great way to spend the evening. We will definitely be back!
So good. Warm environment with exposed brick and warm lighting, bar tender who was happy to explain the types of beer and discuss how they are made and above all truly excellent beer! The Puck Dumping tastes like a liquid caramel apple and then they turn it into their Indian Summer Shandy. We'll definitely be back and we'll bring friends! See you soon!
Excellent beer, great ambiance, engaging bartender. The Tell the Bees Braggot was excellent, the Abracadabra is a classic English IPA based on a 100+ yr old recipe, and the Magic Jam Wild Strawberry Sour is fun and refreshing. This brewery is worth finding a parking spot in the Third Ward to visit. We'll be back!
Fantastic beer, cool atmosphere, owner is a great guy. Help the local craft beer.
Cool beer👌
A magical place with great tasting beer! One of my favorite breweries, whenever I stop by (which is often), I have a great time.
Hidden away in the basement of Milwaukee’s Third Ward, this nano-brewery is a true gem. Despite its small size, it delivers some of the best beer we’ve ever tasted. Their Octoberfest, which took six months to perfect, stands out as one of the finest we’ve ever had—each sip a testament to the meticulous brewing process and the craftsmanship behind the mug. The attention to detail here is world-class, and it shows in every pour. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with an intimate charm that adds to the experience. If you’re looking for exceptional craft beer in an impressive setting, this spot is not to be missed. It’s a wonderfully unique experience for a brewery, from the slight of hand card show by the brewer, to the Mario Cart league; this should be on the short list of any beer connoisseur.
He made my husband cry. The brew master did magic tricks and the beer was so very good!!!

Great beer, and MAGIC
Visited on my birthday. Wonderful hidden gem, such a lovely place. Really different compared to a lot of breweries in Milwaukee.
Chris and his team are amazing. The beer quality and selection is outstanding, the atmosphere, comfortable and welcoming. Most of all Chris, is a master at entertaining his customers with mind bending magic, performed bar side with a super fun, friendly and hilarious style. We need more Chris Ivanovich and Wizard Works Brewing in our lives!!
Good beer... Butter beer was a good try for a first time.
Cool location and friendly staff. Beer was good but limited selection when we were there. Will go back.
