So, my husband and I planned a trip to Milwaukee about two months ago. It just so happened the bears were scheduled to play green Bay on that same day! So we go to Woody's to see some of the game. We planned to leave after the first half but we were having a great time we decided to stay for the entire game. We weren't being obnoxious because we are from Chicago, we kept quiet and cheered when GB did great plays. But the guys we were chatting with all night figured us out but didn't hold it against us. Even though it didn't turn out how the bar wanted, they were great sports. The service was great here too, even when the bar line was very long, it moved quickly! Will go back! Yeah, the one guy in the bears sweatshirt, very brave!

Perfect LGBTQ+ spot for sporting events. Straight allies often attend as well.
Packer, Brewers, College and Bucks are shown on numerous TV’s in this large bar. Lots of seating. Often they have half time food. Friendly bartenders who make you feel welcomed. 2-4-1 Thursday’s are a local weekly event.
Overall, a nice midwestern no attitude bar that welcomes everyone. Recommended.

Woody’s is a very fun and friendly gay bar in Milwaukee! My husband and I had a list of possibilities for our anniversary weekend, but once we walked into Woody’s and we greeted with smiles and hello’s, we knew this was the place. The barkeeps Hector and Justin are fabulous. Its an old neighborhood hangout and you’d be hard up to find a friendlier place ❤️

I really like Woody's. It is a small neighborhood bar. I don't go often, but I have found the bartenders to be helpful and friendly. I can usually find someone to talk with if I want to meet someone new, but have also found that if I talk with the bartenders its a great way to get introduced to others.

My first time going there yesterday Friday night around 11pm besides the snow storm of course not to many people would be out but there was a couple me and my second mom went to celebrate her birthday it was a beautiful place great atmosphere the bartender (so sorry forgot his name) was so fun and sweet and his (husband) also was a vibe! everyone was having a good time dancing laughing and drinks were great price, and pizza was good definitely will be coming back ?❤️
