I was about to place an order for pickup via the Doordash app about a week ago and the order would be ready for pickup in about 15 minutes. I called first several times to inquire on a food allergy. No one ever answered so I assumed they were closed and gave up. I’m glad I didn’t submit the order and pay online. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing too as we were looking forward to having Yen Ching for lunch. :(

I ordered online from their website on September 24th for curbside scheduled for pickup within an hour. The order was confirmed with a confirmation number. The website stated they were open however, when I went to pick my order they were closed! Why would the order be confirmed for a business that’s not open? Why is this business still allowed to accept payment online if they are not operational?I’ve been patronizing this business for year's with previous excellent food and service. After trying for several days to reach someone there by phone without success, I reported the payment issue of food not received to cash app. What a nightmare to deal with cash app to get a refund. Today is 10/18/2021 and I’m still waiting for my funds to be returned to my account. I was told they give the merchant 45 days to respond before they will issue a refund. This is a learning experience as well with dealing with cash app. Will not purchase anything on line over $20 with cash app! why? Because if you have a problem or dispute a purchase it will take almost 2 months to get your funds replaced, which in my opinion is unacceptable!I’ve driven by the Yen Ching restaurant several times over the past 3 weeks and it looks abandoned with weed overgrowth and garbage collecting everywhere. Interested, it has a huge sign near the front door that says open! I’m not sure what has happen but I suspect the restaurant is a pandemic fatality!?Extremely dissatisfied customer!?

They have the best hot and sour soup I've ever had. Their atmosphere is amazing. Hope they are still open. Hasn't seemed like that lately...great mapo tofu and mongolian pork

Absolutely horrible. They have changed the ingredients in their cashew chicken and the sauce is bland. The rice tasted like it was burnt. Worst meal I have ever had. I used to love this place would not recommend it to anyone. It doesn't deserve one star but you have to give it a star in order to post.

The Gen. Tso chicken had a mushy breading and terrible flavor. The lo mein was also inedible. The egg rolls weren't terrible, but hardly redeeming of the rest of the meal. I ended up taking a few bites of each and immediately threw it away. It was as if they gave me food that they had sitting all day. Not going to be back.

Being loyal customers, we tried ordering again a few days later and they were open. Food was extremely bland and tasteless. Everything tasted completely different than it used to. There was trash in the parking lot everywhere, even right in front of the doors! Won’t be going back anytime soon. :(

Food is not even close what it used to taste before. Ordered online for curbside pickup and not such service. It didn't finish to complete my order if I did not add a tip. Yeng chin Fried rice was terrible the same as Mongolian Beef and appetizer.

I would love to know if this is the same business that was in regency mall down in racine? They shut down but they had the best general tsos chicken I’ve ever had and I would be so excited to know that they had a restaurant
Been going to this venue for over 30 years. My family and I got take out on Sunday last week. I saw that they were shutting the inside of the restaurant down and my mom has for over 30 years been in love with a picture on the wall. The cashier said the owners were not there so I decided to call Friday night and asked the lady whom answered the phone if I could speak an owner and she so no owners were there I then proceeded to ask if she could take my name and number down and she said why and I said it a private question for the owners and she screamed NO at me and then hung up on me. We will not be back completely rude and disrespectful behavior.

From ordering for delivery to receiving my order on time from a very pleasant fella ... my food was still hot and the quality, taste and value exceeded my expectations. Yen Ching has absolutely won my future business for great Chinese cuisine.

Had been here a few times but the last time beef in our food tasted sour and spoiled. They were so defensive about it probably because they thought I didnt want to pay. my husband who said it tasted "off" went to the bathroom and was vomiting violently which confirmed. I feel they serve african americans anything. They don't take feedback well. I've been to this restaurant several times and I know they are pricey compared to others in the area. I dont mind since I enjoyed the intimate ambiance. No apology. They agreed to take 1 thing off our bill. We paid a lot of money for bad food. I didnt want to argue it because I could tell they thought we didnt want to pay. They agreed to remove 1 dish from bill. Never went back!

This is disgusting. Not a single item from this place is edible. The fried green beans are not the ones seen at Chinese restaurants, they're battered and deep fried. The veggie rolls was just cabbage and flavorless. The tofu in the general tsos tofu was snotty and the flavor of the sauce was very sour. I do not recommend ordering from this place. I threw it all away, a $30 order in the trash!
