Great old time tavern in lower East Side! Great thin crust pizza! Lots of old timers there! 😆
Just one thought and I wish I had been asked about the order. Milwaukee is known for its thin pizza and I love NY Style Pizza. So I got what I did not want but still was a great pizza. So it's just a complaint but all in all was great.
I am very happy with how I’ve been treated very good people here!! Hard earned money well spent. want be disappointed nice family spot…Remy~
For the food to be as terrible as it was it sure didn’t make for the racist behavior of your black hair done go Periodt ,,,,, food was nasty and the service even nastier it’s really sad you can’t even support local bu with out all the extra bs ,,,, made me and my guest feel so out of place but the great thing about it is when we all die we answer to the same person .
Well damn...I've got to go there. This place really couldn't be more my thing. It's absolutely old school Milwaukee in the best way. The building itself is charming, the bartenders were incredibly friendly and on point with service. The clientele is diverse with a great mix of old timers, younger folks, people who clearly are originally from other countries and everyone just vibes.
Now, the pizza.
I eat and cook pizza as a passion, an addiction, and a love. I came here just to try this pie. This super thin crust tavern-ish pizza was out of this world. I had the sausage special. The flavor was incredible, but the most amazing thing was how it maintained its superb crispness when pipping hot and once it had cooled. Crazy good pie.

Ok so I have not eaten at this place so I cannot rate the food or the atmosphere. My review is based on my experience over the phone. I called and very politely asked if they offer The Big Z pizza challenge which I had heard about. The lady was so dismissive and had an angry tone in her voice. Apparently, they do not offer it at their normal locations but how would I have known that lol. I called on 10/22/2024 at 2:22pm.

Came here as part of a Brady Street Food Tour. They served us some excellent think crust cheese pizza. It was excellent! We will be back for an entire meal.
Parking: Not many spots on street. Found a lot where you could get 2 hour parking.

I'm amazed reading some of these reviews about how this is the best pizza in Milwaukee- it tastes like greasier Digiorno but for 8x the price. You'd get a better price to quality ratio getting a pizza on uber eats from Chicago. It took an hour and a half for the order to be made, the crust was scorched (which some people may like), and the sauce was a solid 5/10. The mushrooms were the only reason we finished it. We will not be going here again, now we know.

Pizza was overcooked. Crust tasted like cardboard. Edges burnt. Person tried to tell me was O.K. Did not offer to remake or anything. Owner was not on-site.
