First time up in the north woods and I cannot wait to go back! I had an amazing sweet old fashioned, The Stack sandwich, perfect fried mushrooms, hand cut fries, and a bite of the steak sandwich. Our bartender was on top of everything and the service was timely, efficient, and very polite. Thank you for making our trip north so hospitable!

We had a party of six for Friday's fish fry. 4 of us got their meal and 2 of us didn't. So we waited for at least 30 minutes before the last 2 meals came. We had to go and remind the waitress twice, she could have checked on us and our order but never came back to our table. The food was not good either. I'm only giving 1 star because there isn't a 0 star. I will never go back there again.

My family has been going to Boondocks since 1980. we have always looked forward to stopping there every year when opening and closing the cottage. Since being reopened under new ownership the service has been Terrible. The food is ok but the service SUCKS. My family is currently looking for a new place to eat and drink.
