Awesome!!!!! The staff treat you as though they have been waiting for you. It is like going to a friend's bar. And the food is delicious. One of the few restaurants you can go to with your vegan friends and gluten intolerant friends and your other friends and everybody can order off the menu and get a good delicious meal.

Eating by the lake will always be one of my favorite things to do!
Probably one of the best bars I’ve been to. Great patio right on the river. Awesome bar space. Went there for a brunch after a wedding w/ an awesome event room/ event space with a bar to chill and w/ a tv to watch the Packer game. Good staff. Amazing vibes.

We really enjoyed it here, the only downside was the salad our daughter ordered. She took one bite and said something tasted off- we determined the cheese was spoiled. She didn’t eat it, we mentioned it to our server (who was great!) but instead of offering something else just took 10% off her salad on our bill, even though she couldn’t eat it. I know it was an honest mistake- but wish she could have had it remade!

Stopped by for brunch on Labor Day and had a great experience at Breakwater. Tim was so accommodating and took time to talk with us and went above and beyond to make our day great. Syd, our waitress, was amazing and friendly as well. We will definitely be back.

I have never been here before. What a great experience! Had a cheesy soup and turkey wrap with the most incredible fries. Looking forward to next visit.
I digged this spot alot food is good and atmosphere is cool being right on the lake. However on this visit I noticed a old employee behind the counter working again who used to over charge customers and apparently steal. I will not be bringing my business back to this establishment because it seems they dont care about their customers or maybe their establishment either anymore.

Great at atmosphere, service lacking ANY enthusiasm. Food did not show up, lost food order, no discount, or offer an appetizer to compensate waiting for food over an hour. Food not impressive.

I leave this review in hopes of improvement. This place has potential. However, the drinks are wildly overpriced and the food is hit or miss. I want to go somewhere with consistently good food. I ordered the chicken tenders tossed in buffalo sauce. For $17 with no sides I assumed these would be fresh, hand-breaded tenders. Instead, they were frozen breakbush kind. Very disappointing. The side salad I got was pretty good. Also the cheese curds were not great. The flavor was off and half of them were empty shells. Not sure how you screw up cheese curds, maybe they're also frozen? But yeah they were not good. The other people I was with enjoyed thier meals for the most part - a Cuban (missing the pickles though, and when we brought it up the waitress just brought some pickle spears. A Cuban is supposed to have pickles), and a cobb/chef's salad. The service was okay. The waitress was brand new and she tried. Oh, and the bill was $80 for 3 people and we only got waters to drink!
