Great Italian deli.

Muffuletta with added pepperoncini was really good.
The strawberry cream shortcake was one of my favorite cakes I’ve ever had. Very light cake with a great flavor balance between strawberry and cream.
Baklava was really good. Great layers on the top.
I didn’t like the cannoli. My daughter did though.

What a great part of local history. Stop in and visit this location. They offer a wide variety of specialty grocery items, fresh made salads, Italian dishes, and so much more. Go early they are busy any day of the week. Fresh deli sandwiches premade or request your own. We tried the frozen dough and made some great dishes.

They have lunch and dinner specials, which are great. I get sandwiches. Understand this is a deli. Not, an Uncle's subs or busway. Fresh, oversized, and you can get made to order.

This place is special. Went for a sub sandwich and it was wonderful. The tortellini salad is very good. Cannoli's are delicious and get the regular size and not the small one! Go here!

It is a great little Italian deli!

I grew up in Hibbing Minnesota where Frobonis Italian Sausage and Porketta meat is a household name. I was pleasantly surprised to find one here in Madison, I have found their Italian sausages to be the best around. They have great pasta salad choices and lunch specials galore. I recommend checking them out for sure.

What a great sandwich shop! I got the roast beef and cheddar and it was incredible. It’s everything you’d think an Italian deli should and would be. You gotta try it!

Always busy and have hot entrees, cold subs, deli selections and many frozen and dry package Italian grocery items

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The place was not overly busy, just a couple of groups 2-4 in size and myself (and my kid). I ordered very simple things: Ham and provolone (plain, nothing else, "just ham and provolone and bread") and a Hot Italian Beef Spicy. The worker takes my order and disappears.

Six people from behind me then order, are served, pay, and leave before I get one sandwich. The worker hands me my ham and provolone, which was made with everything (not plain). I ask where my Italian Beef is and he says he gave it to me. Shocked, I look around and correct him that he did not and I dont know who he gave it to. The worker has to be told by someone else to remake it. I open the ham and provolone, and remind him it was supposed to be plain. He goes to try again.

I get handed a Hot Italian Beef MILD, to which I need to give ANOTHER REMINDER that it was supposed to be spicy. Try again. I get handed the ham and provolone, and all the idiot worker did was remove the extra stuff that wasnt supposed to be there.

They didnt mess up once, not twice, but a flabbergasting three times. They then failed to ask if I'd like anything else. I was planning on buying more things from the deli, but screw me I guess. Never got an apology, dont plan on returning.
