I saved an opening announcement for this restaurant but forgot about it until I found it with my recipes recently. We really enjoyed the dumplings and Happy Family dish we picked up Thursday. I like dumplings and so often suspect what I get was bought frozen. Not the case here. Wrappers are thin as opposed to thick and doughy. Filling is tasty and includes a range of ingredients. Happy Family was meaty and flavorful! YUM!! We will be back!!

I had the beef w broccoli and a pork egg roll and it was delicious. Best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Took a little longer than expected but they were very busy and I see why.

Do not be misled by any poor reviews. This place is amazing and the owners are so friendly! Great sized portions. Very flavorful. The owner-chef was a long time chef for the old “Red Pepper” restaurant which was incredible in its day. If you know, you know. When I heard that this place opened, I was so thrilled. I highly recommend the hunan beef and wonton soup. Eating in atmosphere is ok…nothing fancy. For takeout, though, this is THE BEST AROUND BY FAR!

The quality of the food and preparation are way higher than expected for a pickup American Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. I had heard good things and was impressed. We had the Phoenix and Dragon chef special-General Tso and spicy shrimp. It was a really great way to try 2 excellent dishes. The beef and pea pods was my favorite.

So, I've never had Chinese food cooked by Mexicans... holy smokes.. these folks got it together. I enjoyed Taste of China, but the new owner/chef has changed and tweaked recipes and I think it's considerably better! More flavor, more intense flavors, and everything is always steaming hot! Love having this place so close to home.

Wrong order, gave me order with something I put in the note I was very allergic to. When I called they didn't care & said no order can be made without broccoli. This place isn't what it used to be.
