Best Al Pastor tacos I've had in the Midwest. After living in SoCal for a while it has been lame trying to find comparable tacos around here. I finally have, though! The Al Pastor marinade flavor is perfect and the salsas are excellent.The only feedback I'd give is that it would make the tacos even better if the meat was roasted on a vertical spit.

I’m from Chicago. I miss authentic tacos! After many google searches and many trips to taco places all over Madison, I found my self here. They have the best tacos I have had in Madison so far. A little taco window inside a great little grocery store. They also sell the red tortilla chips that I have missed soooo much. And alll the chicarrons a girl can ask for. I’ll definitely be back.

I'm giving a 2 because the staff was friendly, otherwise I'd give a 1...A few years back was the first time I tried La Rosita buffet for my birthday. I gathered friends and family to celebrate with me. No one liked their food, including me. At this time they had recently opened up so I figured wait and try again, hopefully I'd get better results. I tried it again and was disappointed once more. Food was cold both times, just very bland and not what I was expecting for an authentic Mexican experience.

OMG!!!!! I've dreamed of eating at a Mexican food buffet now there is one in the Madison area. I haven't even at there yet and they get 5 stars from me.
The Mexican Buffet at La Rositas far exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly accommodating. Their food was fresh and everything I tried was fantastic. The food is more authentic Mexican food and probably unfamiliar to the average Madinite. If you can live with that, your taste buds will surely thank you. There is a lot of overlap to the food/things in the grocery store next door and I would surely recommend both.

We love going out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a beautiful evening there with great cooking and a professional stuff and a distinguished chef. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we shall no doubt return soon. We deeply recommend.
