My husband and I walked across our hotel parking lot over to Mr Brews Taphouse for dinner after a long day of driving. This was the perfect place for some delicious food. We had an appetizer of warm pretzels with their beer cheese dip. Delicious! We split their Kentucky Bourbon burger which was great too! They have loads of beer on tap but since we are driving tomorrow, we didn't try any. The servers were very personable and explained everything. We're sorry that we are leaving tomorrow!

Mr Brews is my go to place in Monona and all of Madison. The staff is great Nate, Henry, Jayce, and all the others really make you feel like part of a community. The burgers are top knotch and it's not loud. If your in or near Monona stop in.

We've been going here for years and our experience this weekend was awful to the point we are not interested in returning after enjoying this spot for so long.
The waitress was so rude. She told us we didn't get the free kids meal be cause "we didn't ask her" when we called ahead to double check and it's written right on the menu.
3 of our 4 adult meals were more on our bill than what was written on the menu. She said it was the computers fault and didn't even attempt to fix it. She left us the card reader and never came back.
This was not a good experience. I have so much grace for service staff but this was over the top awful.

This place is awesome and would recommend to anyone!!! Within walking distance from our hotel. Food was great!! Wednesday they played music trivia but we showed up late. So we came back Thursday Night and played Music Bingo!! Will be back next trip!!
