I've been a fan of Waypoint ofr a few years. The food is good and consistent, staff firendly and helpful. Yes, it is a bar, so it can get busy and louder, but I've not had any issues with it being overly loud as a bar. Been for lunch and dinner a few times.

Don't order their ice cream sandwich. It was freezer burnt, cookies were very undercooked, and server couldn't tell me when they made them. Burger was average but when you can get a good burger anywhere it's a bad sign. Service was fine. People were screaming and drunk at the bar. Cheese curds were very greasy and after 2 minutes they completely deflated. I won't be back. TLDR: don't come here.

Excellent wings! Pretty impressive beer selection. Brie Smash burger was delicious and loved that I could add on a side salad of one of their fancier salads. Not just a standard house salad. Server was super nice

We really enjoyed this place on New Year's eve. The surf and turf was amazing, the service excellent, and we loved the vibe. We'll have to stop in again.

WAYPOINT is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Madison. The food is delicious every single time, the staff is always friendly and accommodating and the patio in the summer is amazing. They also have non-alcoholic beer on tap which is rare around here. Highly recommend.
