You know we have given gorskis a fair shot. Honestly, the old fashions are ok, we returned for a meal despite the fact that four out of six of our group got violently ill in October with GI symptoms within 24 hours of meeting and eating at the restaurant, with a complaint that was never returned or addressed by management. Why we would ever think to go back is beyond me. (Background we are a group of 2-3 couples that meet once every month or every other month for drinks and/or dinner) Despite the probable food poisoning Mosinee dining options are limited and we figured it was a fluke let’s try it again. Honestly our server was amazing, we got our drinks in minutes, food service was prompt. Everyone at the table was super surprised. Gorskis has been here for five years and we have never had such a prompt waitress. But then another server at the end of dinner decided to engage the couple we were dining with in conversation asking how their parents were. Needless to say it was a mistaken identity and the other waitress ( again not ours) went on to assume that we were this other couples parents. Needless to say we do have an age difference but not a generational age difference. The one time we (at least so far) had good food, good service, and ok drinks we were insulted by staff. Needless to say no more chances.

We are out in WI for my brothers funeral and we decided to stop for dinner. I got the sirloin steak. it had zero flavor and WORST OF ALL…I woke up at midnight from terrible food poisoning.
We mist our flight back home because of it.

The pizza was one of the worst I’ve ever had; for the $23 price per pizza, it was dry with hardly any sauce and it had mostly all crust. Nothing about it should have made it that expensive and we won’t be getting pizza there again. Not as good as it used to be. Very disappointing.

Had the hamburger steak with grilled onions. Pretty small portion, VERY thin patty. Had to order a bowl soup cause I was still hungry. It was also a small portion.
