Dinner was good. The baked fish was over-cooked, but deep fried fish was delicious. Over $200 for dinner for 4 is a bit much when we had a kids meal and 3 fish fries, but for an occasional special dinner, this is a good spot.
Amazing experience all the way around! Great service, quality, fresh, flavorful food, incredible drinks especially the pumpkin-tini, and warm, cozy atmosphere. We always come back!
Meh. Was hoping for more on the quality side. Baked fish was tail ends, which can get overcooked quickly, and was the case. Service was excellent.
We enjoyed our time. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The stuffed chicken was amazing. My wife did not love the firecracker shrimp tacos, more spice than she expected. Only negative was it was our first anniversary, which was part of the reservation, and it was not acknowledged at all.
The menu is extensive. There's definitely something for everyone. The food was outstanding as well as the service. We will be back for sure!
While the restaurant was on the quiet side, the bartender had plenty to do and had difficulty keeping up with serving the entire bar and tables. She always had a smile on her face though! The dinner was fabulous as always and our birthday guest received a free brownie and ice cream. Such a great atmosphere and wonderful menu selection.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception and it was beautiful! Valerie and all of the staff were excellent. The venue is gorgeous, and is suited to events up to 150 people, which is how large our wedding was. Beyond that I think it would be a bit crowded. My 3 bridesmaids and I were also able to get ready on location. The bridal suite was perfect for our group size as well. We ordered food and drinks at the bar while we were getting ready and had an excellent server during that time. Great venue, great food, great drinks!

Really great options and all very tasty. I got a Buddha bowl, my husband got the streak salad, and my kids got pizza and Mac n cheese. All were delicious and fresh. There was so much on the menu I wanted to try! We had a wonderful server who was very attentive. Everything was great!
It is also next to a bike trail, which now I have to try. Next time we’re out here to bike/run the trail we’ll stop by again and try something else from the menu. Definitely my kind of place.

My favorite is the fish tacos. Tonight I went with the pan-fried walleye. Very good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I always order a side order of their brussel sprouts. Tonights weren't cooked fully or as good as usual. But I will order them again.
The food, service, and atmosphere was excellent except for the noise. I would guess that approximately 25% of the tables or less were occupied. I was disappointed in the amount of noise bouncing around the room. We had great pan fried walleye and stuffed chicken breast. Green beans and garlic mashed potatoes were great sides. They had an amazing carryout business.

Martinson Hall was a lovely venue for our wedding reception! The ambience is fabulous with the brick, windows, lighting, and balcony. Valerie was so helpful as we coordinated all of the details together, like the table layout. I'm glad catering was so easy with Buck & Honey's downstairs, and we had so many people tell us how amazing the food was, especially the bacon-wrapped dates. The bartenders did an amazing job with everything, including our signature drinks. So much went into planning the reception that I would've been okay with something going wrong at some point, but I can't think of anything that did!

Phenomenal. My husband and I’s first date four years ago was to the Monona location and we’ve gone there ever since for each anniversary — now it is our first wedding anniversary and we decided to branch out to the Mount Horeb location. Couldn’t have been a better choice! The staff are all so bubbly and kind, very careful in their work — Grace, our server was absolutely wonderful! Such a joy to have with us to celebrate tonight despite being here since 10am! Amazing! Thank you big time, Grace!
The food was GREAT! We order the same thing each every time, and I have to say — the quality was even better than we are accustomed to at the Monona location, the portions are literally double… for the same price! Heck yeah!
Overall so very impressed and grateful for everyone’s part in making it another special, delightful, memorable night! We will certainly be back!

I saw firsthand a company letter to an employee admitting they “misallocated tips.” That’s outright shady. In my opinion, the owners have zero morals or ethics—don’t waste a single dime at this disgusting business.
One of the most delicious places I’ve had in a long long time. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing, the cheese curds full of flavor and the shrimp we delicious. Amazing hospitality and beautiful environment. Incredible staff, I cannot wait to go back thank you!
