The meat was disgusting (took one bite and didn’t touch the rest), plain black coffee was undrinkable- we do not recommend going there for breakfast. Both my husband & I got sick right after eating very little.

Great food with large portions, affordable prices and friendly staff make for a real home spun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Stopped in for a late breakfast. Both my wife and I ordered breakfast bowls. They were very well made and tasty. A young lady was our waitress and she was very friendly and attentive. Just your basic greasy spoon restaurant.

This was our first visit here; stopped in for a late breakfast. The service was very good, as was the food. We enjoyed ourselves, and will probably stop in again.

The service sucked. We waited forever for our food. And the waiter was either always ignoring us or was kinda rude when at the table and he was forgetting a lot of the orders at my table. Food was real greasy too. Yall need to do better. Still surprised that it’s still open.

Small diner in town offering a large selection of American breakfast and lunch items. Staff was welcoming and said we were welcome to sit wherever we liked. They have booster seats and high chairs available for small kids. Server quickly took our order and offered to answer any questions.
Ordered the fried cheese curds for an appetizer were delicious; how can you go wrong with fried cheese! While all our lunch entrees were large portions there was opportunity for improvement. The meat in my taco salad was overly salty; generally I like my food well salted but this was too much. My wives patty melt was the opposite; significantly under seasoned. Daughter’s Mac and cheese was just a big bowl of Kraft. Nothing wrong with that, it’s good Mac and cheese, just don’t expect a homemade version.

Don't get to come here often because I don't live in the area but always try to stop in when in Mt Horeb. Delicious contemporary American food in huge portions, breakfast all day, good coffee, and a fun dessert selection for good prices. It's also usually pretty quiet and relaxing. Tried several dishes, loved them all.

Food and service were both really good. The young man waiting our table paid a lot of attention and made sure we had coffee and anything else we needed. The windows and carpet need some work but I understand it is hard to spare money for things like that in this economy so I wouldn't hold that against them.

All day breakfast, yes please. Reading some of the material on the walls it seems like it has been Spring Garden for awhile. Locally owned since 2005. It is dated but the day we visited you can tell there are some townie regulars.
The gentleman who was our waiter was very nice. He seated us upon arrival and was attentive being the only server for us and a big table top of 9. There was a couple other tables but not busy midday.
We asked to share a breakfast bowl. It was hash browns with veggies, bacon and a couple hard eggs on top. Came with choice of bread and he brought the plate so we could split it. It was filling and good. It seemed to lack some flavor but again it was fresh and plenty.
