This is the 2nd time in a week that I've ordered! Thought I would try the 3piece fried chicken dinner with baked beans, corn bread, cole slaw, and a piece of pie. I asked for a thigh in my dinner and got 3 big, fat, juicy, and crispy!! Okay folks, support local, the food is so much better!

Drove down from Milwaukee me and my sister, and I tell you we were both greatly satisfied, we were looking for a spot to eat at and got here, to see was only take out but I must say it was worth it. I ordered rib tip dinner, mire than enough and reasonable prices. I will definitely be making this spot here my new one when in Racine. Oh yeah and the egg pie was a 10!

The meatloaf was terrible! I mean, seriously, I'm not sure what they used, but I'm almost certain it wasn't ground beef. I've never tasted or even seen meatloaf like that. The greens tasted like out the can, and the spaghetti tasted like noodles and uncooked tomato sauce. I thought I had a new soul food spot, but no way would I ever eat there again. This food was literally like somebody just threw something together real quick but didn't know what they were doing.

Decent BBQ ribs at an affordable price. Unfortunately, their sides are no good. Tried the mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes, and they were both lackluster.

Such good food!!! The BBQ brisket is amazing... smoky tender brisket covered in a delicious bbq. The corn bread is awesome... the meatloaf is the best gravy based meatloaf I've ever had. The Mac n cheese is just ok... but everything else is SO SO good!

This is by far the best food I've found in Wisconsin. Egg pie is now my favorite pie and I'd never heard of it before. The chicken has full flavor like I never thought possible. Rib tips were delicious, but was a smaller portion than expected, however the prices here are so low that makes sense.I've stopped ordering food from anywhere else unless this place is closed. Which is my one complaint, the hours are extremely limited. I'd order here a lot more often if they were open more. I think it's just the owner running it by himself with no help.

Drove up from Texas to visit my nephew and stopped in for a bite. Let me tell you I’m from Texas and we know bbq… I felt like I was back home. The food is hands down delicious, you can definitely tell it is made with love. Might have to take another road trip just to stop by again.

The people working were super nice, just wish the food was as good as the customer service.The rib tips and the collard greens with pork were ok, the corn bread was dry, the mac and cheese with penne noodles and a premade cheese sauce was terrible. And lastly, the sweet potato pie was garbage; too much nutmeg, gritty and way too chunky.

Called twice to place a order for the 1st time and both calls a worker stated they were out of or weren’t serving what is still shown on their menu … I wanted chicken strips or a pot roast they couldn’t prove either …
