Best food around!! The food in the area has been mediocre at best the last year or so. My family and I live around here all year round so we’ve gone to every place that offers food, multiple times, and stopped because of the quality. We finally tried The Lazy Bear and it was delicious!!! We went for the Fish Fry and my husband was very happy with the quality and taste of the platter. Big pieces of fish at a good price. My burger and the tenders were good too! On top of that, the service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Stopped by for dinner after getting our campsite all set up. Was one guy running bar and kitchen. Super friendly and down to earth. The best part was the burgers which honestly blew us away! They were so good and fresh! Defiantly will come by again when we're in town.

So, this place is mighty fun. Not a ton of seating, so it could get crowded fast. Plenty of local brews on tap. The service is great. Your typical lovely Wisconsin folk. Food? Terrific. I had the perch. Yummy.

We started off with a positive time in this establishment with good cocktails and fun. A polite gentleman from the local American Legion was selling raffle tickets within the establishment, which some of us have purchased. The start of the decline of our experience in this establishment began when a male bartender said they would not support the polite man from the local American Legion by selling the raffle tickets, as well as telling the American Legion member to leave. The bartender said this because the American Legion does not “support” their business… since when does a veteran have to earn the support of the local establishments through patronization? I would also like to add that said bartender was very rude and disrespectful in the manner of kicking the American Legion member out. After seeing this disgusting altercation we left the bar, leaving our full drinks on the bar deciding that nothing in the establishment was worth our time. After confronting said bartender, he said “I would give the shirt off my back to support veterans.”. I found this statement to be very contradictory after the altercation he had with the American Legion member… There is no difference between one veteran and the next, let alone an American Legion member. I am not a resident of this county but that doesn’t mean I don’t know the positive impact the American Legion has in local communities across the NATION. I come from a strong military family and would never dream of not supporting any form of veteran activities in any manner. It is safe to say I will not return to this establishment.
