Great food for local little bar!!
Stopped in tonight to get a container of clam chowder. I thought I’d give this place another try. I don’t mind paying for quality food. A bowl of clam chowder was eight dollars. Got it home and it was the worst. It didn’t even taste like clam chowder. It tasted like flour. Had to toss it. I really wanted to give this restaurant another try.
So, my husband and I stopped for a few beers and to get something to eat. There was only one couple at a table, who left within 5 minutes of our arrival and two guys sitting at the bar playing dice. Otherwise, the bar was empty for a Saturday afternoon. Soon we realized why.
We initially sat at a table about 10 feet from the bar and the bartender/owner immediately told us there was no table service. Okay, we get it, they’re lazy and don’t want to serve the only two...read full review
