The string cheese is not fresh or even semi. It doesn't peel. Wrapped it in egg roll skin....wouldn't melt. The only thing I like there is the apple pie.

Love their homemade potato salads. The peanut butter and the pecan cookies are so good!!

Mainly reviewing Canadian Bacon that I generally love. I found this product to be very dry and not much flavor. Disappointed. Will not purchase again. The rest of my shopping experience was awesome so I will not let "1 bad apple" spoil my coming back.

My wife and I don't get here often but we do love the pies and other bakery that we purchase. Unfortunately we stopped Saturday march 8th 2025 and bought a lemon poppy seed muffin and when we opened it the next day for breakfast it was dried out. this is the first and only time we were disappointed with something we bought. We ate it with a cup of hot coffee and the flavor was great. We will be back again and I'm sure what we purchase will be awesome!

Best Apple pie in the Midwest

We drove 3 hrs to get a pie from Elegant Farmer and had a taste for Blueberry. We purchased a blueberry apple pie which sounded really good. When we got back home and cut the pie we discovered with extreme disappointment it was a peach apple pie. The box was missing labeled. We paid 25.00 for a mistake labeled pie. Probably not going back.

I received this pie as a gift and placed it in the freezer. Today, expecting visitors, I took the pie out to bake it the condition of the pie was terrible, all crushed in . I ended up throwing it away. I would not recommend buying one online as a gift. A total waste of money.😡

Have been going to Elegant Farmer for many years. I come a long way specifically for the pot pies. They seem much smaller than in the past. Light on chicken and the dough didn’t seem to cook properly. I always found the apple pie lacking filling and the crust too hard to eat. Sorry but need to shop elsewhere or make my own.

Fun stop.
Different and amazing products, from fresh & packaged soups, cheeses, meats, snacks, great little stop for pies. But definitely a little pricey.
