I've only been a handful of times, but it's always an extremely pleasant one when I go. Food is great and fresh, drinks are delicious and they are very accommodating. Such a cute place with lovely staff.

Shanahan's is the place to go. Way better than Brew52 - a chill spot to read, do work, or be with friends. Seasonal drinks are always the bomb (but their regular menu is a great go-to). Love love their thai chicken salad (so gooddd) and all of their coffee. I always get one coffee drink and then one light seltzer drink and I feel light and happy the rest of the day. Absolutely go here!

Awesome Cafe! Love the homey decor it was relaxing and a nice change of pace. Loved the Denver breakfast croissant sandwich best breakfast sandwich I have had, along with being reasonably priced! As for coffee I prefer simple but the mocha latte with extra shot was absolutely perfect not to sweet not bitter it was perfect every time I got it I would highly recommend this place over major brand cafes!

Worst experience ever. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches on GF bagels and paid. Waited forever, only for them to give me *one* breakfast sandwich on GF toast. I told her I ordered TWO sandwiches on bagels, and she said they were out of bagels. I went back to the cashier and kindly explained since I paid for bagels and there was no communication they were out, I wanted a refund. The owner then came, took the sandwich back, and gave me a refund without saying a word. Way after I left, I checked the receipt from the refund, and she only refunded me for half my order. So 30 minutes wasted, left with no food, down $6, and not a single apology from anyone. Will not be back.

A hidden gem in the Milwaukee burbs! This folks at this cute, bustling cafe not only know what vegan means (and it's not GF, dear Midwest family members), but they have clearly marked veg items and a separate plant based menu! Went there on a Sunday and was surprised that the brunch menu advertised on their website was not available, or maybe I had to ask? Either way the tofu breakfast sandwich was super filling, and my dirty chai fueled me thru a day filled with family and Packers football. The next morning when I got to MKE I was glad to have the vegan blueberry muffin I had gotten from shanahans the day before. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

Tons of sugar free options for my latte, which was creamy and delightful. Also the young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. Will be back

I have been here several times. The atmosphere is always cheerful, the food freshly made, and the drinks refreshing. This is a small independent coffee shop, which means that they are not built for mass production, so don't expect a Starbucks assembly line. They take the time to insure you have a pleasant experience, and a great cup of coffee, ice tea, or whatever.Today they had a acoustic guitar player, playing softly in a corner up front. What a nice treat. Everybody seemed to be enjoying the entertainment (which wasn't too loud), or the company of their companions. Lots of chatter going on between the tables, so you know that there are plenty of loyal patrons that have gotten to know each other.Keep up the good work!
