I would give zero stars. Don’t waste your money. Our entire party got sick from the buffet. The ice cream machine dirty and looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The utensils were dirty and the plates at the buffet had food stuck on them.

Castle Rock Inn Restaurant and bar is an OASIS in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. Located on the top of large bluff ridge near Castle Rock in Grant County. This is lofty spot to quench your thirst or feed your soul. I smell grandma’s recipes cooking. Yes, home cooking is definitely here, purveyors must be close by too, delicious! Atmosphere is friendly and accommodating. Spacious indoor/outdoor seasonal options to enjoy the view. Visit Saturdays for the Meat Buffet. This is an available venue for music and local celebrations. Please stop and visit with this fine community, have a beer, get a bite, enjoy the view!Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome. It’s not uncommon to see the whole family here.Parking: Plenty of parking options. Paved or gravel.

The last 2 times we had gone here within 2 months, they were closed to having private parties. There was nothing on their website about being closed. We drove 20 minutes to eat here, and they had sign on door saying they were closed. I called today before we left to make sure they was opened, she said yes they was. We was meeting another couple there at noon. When we walked in, they said they closed at noon. Website said they was opened until 2:30. Nothing was said to me about closing early. What poor management.

Excellent family-like food and atmosphere!

Btw. If you tip your waitresses. They do not get the tips. The favored waitresses take all the tips for themselves and management does nothing.

We had super good food. They have small salad bar that is good and good menu. Will drive from Baraboo for more more meals. People knock you over with friendliness and lots of room for you party, large groups and more

Food was the bomb, service was even better! I was so happy with our dinner! I highly recommend this location.

Still needs faster staff and more than 1 POS. bartenders standing in line to get change. Get a second register. It will pay for itself in 1 month from lost revenue because of bartenders waiting to use it and customers waiting for their next drink.
