Milk Can Hamburgers & Frozen Custard

I first discovered Milk Can from their food truck in Milwaukee but I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with the meat quality on my most recent visit. I could have sworn they did fresh smash burgers but this patty tasted like a preformed frozen patty. Onion rings and the house made ranch are what saved this trip!

If I could give zero stars I would. Skip this place!My sister ordered the plain chicken tenders and she got ones with sauce. The woman who took our order was very rude and threw our drinks and order number on the table. I don't know if she was having a bad day but there was no reason for her to take it out on us for simply existing and trying a new restaurant. That experience made me never want to go back again. Do better.

Gluten free buns available. Burger itself was good, bun (gf) was ok too. Chili tasted like it had a smoke flavoring in it. It's pricey. Just over $30 for a cheeseburger, bowl of chili, fish sandwich, a hamburger and lg soda.

It's just ok. I wish it was better all around. Weird setup, only 6 tables and a large bar in the middle. Service was mostly bad. The girl taking our order seemed put out at being asked questions and couldn't make any suggestions. She even said she had never had soup before. Ever.
Ok, we then ordered 3 burgers, 3 shakes. 50$ for very thin, just ok burgers and small shakes. We didn't realize that our burgers didn't come with fries- went back up to order them. Another tiny portion. For 50+$ it would be nice to get a "thank you" at very least. A smile would be great.
It's just ok. Very small burger patties, very small sandwiches, no fries with a burger. I'm leaving hungry.

Delicious. Interesting salt and pepper seasoning on their fries and tots. Onion rings ok would be better if batter fried. Burger delicious tho a bit salty, bun is gorgeous. Bbq sauce ok. Cronuts good. Battered fish good, tartar sauce outstanding. Get extra.

Have eaten here more than a dozen times. Wondering if they changed beef supplier because it felt and tasted like soy burgers. Otherwise great restaurant

A little pricy but good. The ice cream specials are on point ?. Neat dinner atmosphere, great place to take the family! Not typical wait staff, is more of a "fast casual" type.

So cute inside and has outdoor seating. The food was ok. I had the fried fish sandwich which was over fried and the burger was a little too thin. They were both very small too. The menu was huge though. The price was a little high considering the size of the sandwiches. Definitely order ahead for take-out because it took 20 minutes. Nice employees. Will definitely go back and try something else.
