Service: always greeted quickly and seated when I visit for weekday lunch. Great service throughout. Food: their Nashville Hot Chicken is quite good and a typical go to. I've also tried specials, burgers and salads, all delicious. Ambiance: casual and bit of a sports bar feel with multiple TVs to watch games.

Checked out the Local in Muskego on a Friday after work with a friend. While I was waiting at the bar for her to come, I ordered a tap beer and a water which were promptly served to me. I took a minute to look at the menu and landed on some Louisiana Dry Rub wings with a side of fries. Food took about fifteen minutes to come out, which isn't too long. Wings were good, as were the fries and I'm pretty picky about fries. The bartender didn't ask me once if I liked the food so that was kind of a let down because I was looking for some more ranch. When you first walk in, you see the bar, but there are a number of tables to the side and back. A lot of people were getting the fish fry and from what I heard from them, they really enjoyed it. A lot of people were also getting the pizza, which is one of the things recommended at the Local. All in all, if you live in Muskego and are looking for a place to check out, stop in and enjoy the food and drinks.

Great food and service. Went there for the first time for their fish fry. Fried Walleye was outstanding along with the potato pancakes. Was probably hands down the best fish fry we have ever eaten! Will definitely be back again soon!
This was a perfect place to meet a friend for lunch. Our food arrived hot and our server was gracious and pleasant. We felt no need to hurry but we're able to longer and enjoy a good visit with one another. It was my first visit to The Local but it won't be my last. Be careful, though, as you may miss it because, at first glance, it looks like a house! BTW, the fries are outstanding!

This is in contention with some of the best food I've ever had.Parking: I was there on a weekday, during the day, so I had no issues as the lot was mostly empty. But during a peak busy time I could see finding parking being challenging.

The food was delicious… we were there on a Wednesday at 5:30pm. Within the hour the place was busy and very loud. The one thing that rubbed us badly, was after we paid and were finishing up, the server walked by & tapped her fingers on the table and told us that they were very busy and needed our table now ! Not a pleasant end to our meal.
