I hate leaving bad reviews ughhhh but here I go. My husband and I wanted to try this place seeing we have driven past it many of times and the parking lot seemed to have its share of customers judging by the cars in the lot. Mistake number one, always read reviews. We should have went with my first thought of getting Italian or Chinese seeing I cook Hispanic food daily but decided that it would be nice to have someone else cook it and ordered something that generally takes me a long time to make when cooking from scratch at home. Before I get into the main course I can tell you that you don’t get chips and salsa when you sit down like your typical Mexican restaurant. Red flag number one but then I thought well maybe the thought behind that was because they wanted you to enjoy your actual meal and not just fill up on that. Let’s just say that train of thought was wrong. So we ordered the chicken tortilla soup which was ummmm ok. It was edible but lacked in flavor. Thank god I had a lime from my beer to squeeze into it because it really needed something seeing it was missing spices. So I ordered the chicken mole dinner with rice and beans. The mole sauce was made from a jar of Dona Maria 😂😂😂 I know because I’m not going to lie, I have used it before for a quick meal for my family because it takes a few minutes to warm up when you don’t have all day to make homemade sauce. With that being said that was the only thing I could eat that I mopped up with a flour tortilla. The rice….. omg what was that??? What did they put in it that made me then and now question what it was!!! And the caned refried beans with water added to them was a big no thank you. My husband ordered the chicken burrito and asked for NO tomatoes. Guess what he got 😂😂😂 a large handful of tomatoes in it. The waitress was great and told us she made sure to tell them no tomatoes the first time and apologized and proceeded to return it and then brought him a new one. The second one was entertaining to watch him attempt to eat! The facial expressing were very entertaining and gave me a good laugh. He then said, it tasted like they over boiled chicken with NO seasoning and threw it in a tortilla. 😂😂😂 he then asked the waitress for a to go container to take 3/4 of it home where he then fed the remainder to our dog. Yes he gave it to the dog because it was just boiled chicken. She’s a dog she doesn’t need seasoning in her food to mess up her stomach. I will say the waitress was great and to at least tip them well for having to deal with mediocre food coming out of the kitchen that they have to continually apologize for.
It was busy and they handled well. Huge portions and I left full. Good balance of Mexican American food.
We always have good food here. Have had the Bloody Mary Chicken tacos a few times, very spicy with ghost pepper sauce. So much flavor, love them! Last night had the Birria Tacos, Yummmm!!! Too much to eat so I had the leftovers for lunch today.
The food was quite tasteless! ordered the jambalaya and was totally disappointed with athe tastelessness. My friend had a chimichanga that she said was bland and tasteless. Very disappointed ! What's our first and last time here.
Got a carry out order. Just ate the beef enchiladas with mole sauce, the best I’ve ever had. She had the spicy shrimp tacos, and said they were a 10. Excellent sauces on both, delicious! We are from out of town, but wish we had this place where we live in Missouri!
Nice ppl

This has got to be one of my favorite places in Wisconsin! The food is great, the staff is super friendly, and the kids love to draw on the paper tablecloth as we wait to be served!

The owner was terribly rude! They brought out the wrong order. After settling it with our server the owner came out to "double check " and as I very kindly explained the issue. She replied "I doubt that!" And stormed off dramatically. Another kind employee was completely mortified as she witnessed the whole encounter. Even other guests stopped to talk about it. The owner never apologized! And proceeded to roll her eyes as we left! I feel sorry for all the employees and guests that have to deal with this lady!

First and foremost, the guacamole was the best I ever had. It was creamy, a lil touch of cilantro, lil touch of onion and nice chunks of avocado.
I had the pick three entries and had the Chimichanga, Tostada and burrito.
It was was to much food , I mean my plate was overflowing with rice , beans, lettuce.
It was your typical Mexican food and all were good.
The best part of the night was the service and owners.

Here's the good - wait staff was polite, friendly and attentive. Very nice.
The not so good - wasn't fond of the food. The chips seemed like they were out of a bag, but the salsa was ok. I got the shredded beef tostadas that came with a side of rice and beans. The shredded beef and the beans were excessively salty, which is saying alot, as I usually don't mind salt.
Atmosphere-wise, it had very little "feel" of a Mexican restaurant.
Maybe an off nite, naybe not but I wasn't inspired to come back.
