Red Circle Inn

Having had a fantastic dining xperiencevat the Red Circle Inn within the past six months, we arranged to come back with close friends from Milwaukee who at never been to the restaurant. We came on a Sunday evening, when a special Sunday Supper special menu was offered. The service, as with our earlier visit, was superlative. So far as the food was concerned, it appears that the chef has been given Sunday nights off. We ordered meatloaf ($45), pork loin ($42), salmon ($50) and prime rib ($58). None of these offerings were close to being as well prepared and flavorful as what we had experienced in earlier visits. When queried about their food choices, our friends responded “We've had better”! Mediocre is how I would describe these culinary efforts. The unremarkable tasting food made the meal a poor value.

The family style apps, salad, and dessert were a hit. Friendly service. Meatloaf and Chicken were great. Pork loin was borderline not serve-able...no taste and too chewy.

Excellent meal overall. Pan-seared walleye was flavorful and the green beans were done just right. Bread pudding was excellent. Server (Maelee) was attentive and very pleasant. Sat on back outside deck. Traffic noise was a little too loud at times but otherwise, very pleasant. Live music was a nice touch.

Our meal was Sunday Family night and we thought the food was well planed out and was excellent. Every thing including the service was great. We wish they didn't wait for the entree to be delivered before they brought the wine, other than that it was a great meal and we will return

We had a fantastic meal and fun evening at The Red Circle Inn. Service and Food were excellent. We loved the extra touch of Celebratory Dessert, a personal note and even light up numbers to commemorate our Parent's 63rd Anniversary! Thank you !

Our experience was less than stellar! Everything was way over  priced, and the food was just so so. Obviously, we will never come back again as we felt the value was not even close to being there. There are far better choices to make then going to Red Circle inn.

Fantastic vintage property brought up to date with an excellent menu, inviting bar area and simply superb service. Grew up going to this place for special occasions in the 1950s and 60s and was so happy to return and find it to be special occasion-worthy today as well. Julia was one of the best waitresses we've had in a long time. Thanks to all for a memorable evening!

Great experience. Waiter was very attentive. Wonderful spot for a quiet celebration or a date night. Food is creatively designed and served well. They do a great job in the bar too! Enjoyed coming back for dinner. Overall, it's a perfect spot for a getaway. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere and great service. Started at the bar with a couple of great cocktails. Had the Sunday family style dinner for 2 and it was excellent! We split the prime rib and wagyu meatloaf and both were fantastic. Had the seasonal crisp for desert and left very full. Can't wait to go back for a full menu night!

The fillets were excellent done perfectly. A few things bothered me like the extra price for a martini straight up as well as a charge for olives don't understand that. the relish tray being crackers in a little bit of cheese was kind of disappointing. I figured in Wisconsin with the supper club atmosphere you would get a full relish tray

We went for the first time tonight, for our anniversary. The food and service were top notch, we would definitely go back.

Historic location with great food, super friendly staff and excellent service. A “must visit” for any super club enthusiast.

We enjoyed the food and cocktails. Food was beautifully presented, served hot, and delicious. Loved our meal, spot on.

We went on Sunday specifically for Beef Wellington. 10 minutes after ordering we were told they were out of it. We noticed people around us getting it and they said they called and ordered ahead of time! We had made the reservation a month ahead of time and never told we needed to do that. The chicken and meatloaf were also not good ! Our server was excellent. We were a party of 7 and she was attentive. We will never go there again!
