The service and drinks excellent. Felt front door staff could have been dressed in something besides jeans. Sets a stage. Prime rib excellent. Beef stroganoff ok. Apple strudel needed ice cream. Temp of room chilly. Last time there was....long time ago. ..Cold temp ruined the evening. Came back because of city tin. Recommend heating up the rooms. This time was not as cold but last time which was in January

We enjoy dinner at Red Circle Inn and sometimes choose it for special occasions. We arrived early to enjoy a couple cocktails before dinner. The hostess checked us in and offered to escort us to our table at our reserved time (very nice). Our bartender was very pleasant and mixed an excellent cocktail; both my wife's and mine were perfect. Dinner was also excellent. We shared a wedge salad. My wife ordered a tenderloin fillet with port wine demiglase, I had the walleye picatta. Both were perfectly prepared. Our server, Maelea was attentive and most helpful. Afterward we enjoyed brandy Alexander's at the bar, delicious! We will definitely dine with them again.

Everything was very g oo d. Our server was truly outstanding. It is a little far from home to be a destination. Since we were out there it provided a pleasant experience.

We had an exceptionally good experience for dinner at the Red Circle, Inn! When we were initially seated after having requested a quiet table, the noise level was tremendous. The host came up to us after we had been seated and asked if we wanted to move to the bar because it was quieter because he had reviewed our comments in our Open Table reservation. a very nice touch and good way to kick off our dinner. my wife, and I must eat gluten-free. We chose the walleye piccata for our entrée. Because of the constraints around making the dish gluten-free, the chef prepared a special version of the sauce, used for that dish and gave it to us. It was very delicious. We do number the Red Circle Inn among our favorite restaurants for a good reason. Just another two examples of the fantastic service and quality product that they offer as a matter, of course.

The Shrimp de Jonghe appetizer, priced at $22, was served with four exceedingly diminutive shrimp. The Haystack onion rings were inedible due to excessive salting. Regrettably, we had ordered the crab-stuffed shrimp at $40, we were served 4 of the same-sized appetizer shrimp with a minuscule amount of crab. This experience left us profoundly disappointed, and we will neither return nor recommend this establishment.

The mocktail with apple and maple was outstanding. Menu was excellent and even had flatiron which few restaurants have. Salad was excellent although mashed potatoes should have been hot. If you are a fan of Red Circle you will be happy to see that inside looks very similar. Lots of excellent menu choices and only real disappointment was that a dessert from a different menu had something no longer offered. Would definitely go back to try other interesting menu items. Please put mocktails on bar menu. See you soon

What a wonderful first experience at Wisconsin's oldest supper club! Ky was a fantastic server, he had so much knowledge about the menu and was extremely hospitable and kind. We loved the sharp cheddar cheese and crackers to start, the tenderloin was perfectly cooked and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. Well done all around!

This place has had a dramatic change in character. The perfection of the past is gone. Its just OK. a couple of things that bothered me were, No table coverings at all on the up tables. This is common in a tavern setting, but RCI was always a step above that. Id sure appreciate a place mat, or at least a server to remove the crumbs for the cracker service. Service was competent, but almost intrusive. Many interruptions of our conversations. Food was ok. I feel the menu is still quite limited. My ribs were tender and tasted fine. There was a load of barbeque sauce that had been loaded on just before serving. Walley was fine but it was served tepid. I need my fish hot. Onion soup was too salty to finish. Chicken Pot pie was interesting and tasty with lots of nice fresh vegetables. Folks were friendly , and in summary we had a fine meal. Just not special or impressive in any way. If you are in the neighborhood , stop in. But don't drive a distance for a special experience. Its not.

We were celebrating our anniversary. Complimentary champagne toast as soon as we were seated. Starter of haystack onion strings was excellent, well cooked and crispy. Prime rib was flavorful. Potato jojo's were good but my husband's hash browns were better. I'd order them next time.

We came from a distance to have our first supper club experience and it was fantastic from start to finish. The night didn't start great; we were thirty minutes late for our reservation! The host staff was gracious throughout and didn't make a fuss over it, we felt like we'd been invited into the hippest place in town. Our server Reese left us awed with his attentiveness and thorough knowledge of the menu. Almost every sip and morsel was better than the last, we ranged all over the offerings and only the utterly bland stuffed shrimp left us disappointed. Take note: everything else WAS AMAZING! There were five in our party and so many pleasant surprises were discovered across the board, the Bundt Cake for dessert is not to be missed. Everyone walked out fatter, sassier and ready to plan the return trip.

Red Circle is not inexpensive. I ordered a side salad that arrived large enough to feed 3 people. The vegetables were atrociously. Green eans and asparagus both so limp they looked like spaghetti. I would never recommend this place.

It was our first time at Red Circle Inn. We went on a Sunday, which happens to be family supper Sunday. There's a different menu than normal. We ended up choosing the Beef Wellington for two and it was delicious! We definitely want to go back and try the regular menu!! Service was A+!

We have been to Sunday night supper at least 4X in the past 9 months. The first time was wonderful, The second time, not quite as good. The third time again not as good but went with others that wanted to try it. Last night we went back with friends who were interested in trying. Unfortunately for the RCI we all concluded that the food wasn't good at all, and we will not be coming back. Don't know what changed but something did. RCI Chicken Over cooked and dry Pork roast. sliced tooooo thick and tough. I sent my dish back because it was COLD, so were the mashed potatoes. The beans were not cooked.... Very hard and... cold. Hope this feedback helps
