Reputed to be one of the best pizza places in the Castle Rock/Petenwell area of Wisconsin, I found the pizza to be barely on the proper side of average. Unfortunately it was priced like I was eating at some gastropub in a trendy urban neighborhood: $21 for a two-topping 12" thin crust. For comparison, that's only three bucks less than I paid for the same thing, PLUS two bottles of Spotted Cow, PLUS tax & tip, at nearby Goodfellas. And the pizza at Goodfellas is so much better. For what it's worth, other menu items here appeared to be priced more in line with other, similar establishments in the area. But the pizza is just.. way not worth it. Oh yeah, come with cash or be prepared to eat several dollars in ATM fees -- something inexplicable in 2023, especially for a hospitality business in a tourist/resort area.

I'm a long time Chicagoan who knows his pizzas and this pie is the real deal. Beyond that this is one friendly place to be, with a beautiful view of Lake Petenwell.

I am not from around here and picked up a pizza to try it out. The worst pizza I have ever had in my life. It was not even hardly cut when I picked it up and the ingredients tasted old and gross. The sauce was just unseasoned tomato sauce. No flavor, sloppy, and over all nasty. Kid wouldn't even eat it. The garlic bread was just a random stale loaf with cheese melted all over it. Zero flavor except for a little italian seasoning sprinkled on top. Every gas station pizza I've ever eaten was better.
They're fish fry had absolutely no flavor; everything from the batter to the fish itself had zero taste, basically just tasted like water. The fish and cheese curds we had were cold on the inside. Service was good though.

Had 2 pizzas there. Ordered large. There was so much cheese on it that the oil from the cheese was all over the plate. Center dough was raw on both. I have never ate pizza with a fork but had to that night. Would go back but not for sloppy pizza.
