I can’t say enough great! This is my favorite bakery and worth the 1 1/2 hour drive for me! I am grateful to the owner, staff and bakers. It is such a joy to get REAL bakery treats, not from some big box store. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful!

New Glarus Bakery, I miss you so much! We just started our trip back home, but it already feels like too long ago that I was in your establishment. We got blueberry linzer bars (lightly fruity, lightly sweet, creamy, cakey, and buttery}, chocolate oat bars (this bar pure perfection. Supreme chocolate goodness, with just the right amount of salty from the rest of the bar), a brownie(didn't get to try this because it was for my friend's aunt, but it looked amazing) a square doughnut (amazing chocolate frosting, and the chocolate doughnut had just the right texture. They complimented each other wonderfully), and cream horns (slightly crispy, slightly chewy, amazing buttery and lightly sweet cream filling. the mix of textures and the taste sent up a million happy flags in my brain). Omg the cream horns! Should have gotten a dozen of them. Of everything really. You are amazing, and make me look forward to my next visit even more than I already was.
