Excellent atmosphere even on a weekday it was vibrant. You can tell they’re a bit short staffed in terms of wait times. Still service was good. The burger was very delicious. However, it was rare to medium rare done, which is not entirely safe for ground beef eating. But because we had waited a while to get food, I did not send it back for more cooking. otherwise, a very excellent experience.

We came for a band and were told the wait for food would be 25-30 minutes. We ordered and did not get checked on again the whole night, not even for drink. Our food took 1.5 hours and we had no communication about the food taking longer. When we said it was unacceptable, excuse after excuse was made about why it wasn’t their fault. “New cooks, band night, computer system went down so our hand written order got moved to the back of the line on accident.” When the manager Steve got involved, there was an apology and the food was comped. We tried to pay, and were told “keep your card.” The manager proceeded to talk loudly to the whole bar about how it was not their fault and that we didn’t wait that long, intentionally trying to embarrass a woman in front of the restaurant. Very unimpressed about how the whole situation was handled. All we asked for was communication and average service.
This small town bar and grill is an amazing place to stop for some delicious food. The pulled pork sandwich tasted amazing and the house fries were just the right amount of crispy. I topped off the meal with a glass of sweet honey mead. They also offer multiple choices from the local brewery. Our server was prompt, polite and friendly. I will definitely be returning to try some of their other burger options!!!

My husband and I were in New Glarus to spend the day together and have lunch. We arrived at Tofflers house at 1:30 and it was not busy. The waitress, blonde hair with long on one side short on the other, had NO manners and never checked on any of the other patrons in our section. We ordered cheese curds for an appetizer and it came around 30 minutes later. Our lunches were a Cobb Salad and a cheeseburger and after waiting for an hour and a half, we left $20 and left with no lunch!!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! Poor service and no food!

Great place! Above average food, excellent for bar food! Friendly, attentive service even on the super busy nights that a band is there. The garlic Parmesan fries are delicious and highly addictive. The remoulade sauce is some of the best outside New Orleans. Chicken salad salad is delightful, and my kid loves the bacon Mac and Cheese.
