This bar, this place! Friendly staff, amazing burger, huge portions! I've been here multiple times now for the burgers. My favorite!? The garlic burger! Melt in your mouth goodness! Stop in and you won't be disappointed!

We dropped in for lunch in New Glarus before we hit the New Glarus Brewery for a tour. We started with their cheese curds, which were pretty good, and then chased that with a Cowboy Burger for my wife, and a Gyro order for me. The Gyro was just average, the Cowboy Burger was pretty good. Service was okay, it's easy in and out - you can get to the back area by going through the door on the side of the bar, and exit out the swinging door to the street after you settle your bill.

I felt like our group of 8 was a bother for the staff. We had to go to the bar to order when there were staff there. WE waited over an hour for our hamburger/sandwiches to be delivered.

Wife and I were in here recently and everything was absolutely delicious and very, very affordable. The Ott Haus burger was unique and simply superb. The perch sandwich was extraordinary!

Very few places in town were open for lunch, so we gave this one a try. Server greeted us right away, very friendly. I ordered the swiss/mushroom burger... .best one i've had in ages!! so tasty, grilled to perfection. Would definitely return. only concern: server was not masked, and it was unclear what the sanitation practices might be.

Local pub with decent bar fare & full bar. No frills, nice people & location. Only had apps but they were tasty & drinks were good. Reasonably priced.

Did our last New Glarus run of the season - my friends have eaten here before - and craved the burger with bourbon bacon jam ! This was my first time - I ordered the perch sandwich after a customer recommended it So glad I did - cannot gets good fried fish in Illinois, and I miss my Wisconsin Friday fish, and this did not disappoint-perfectly cooked, I love your dill sauce and the pumpernickel bread was the best vessel ? I will definitely return, delicious food and friendly staff
My husband and I were hungry after touring the New Glarus brewery. And had a coin to redeem on a complimentary beer at a local restaurant. We opted for the Ott Burger with the bacon bourbon jam. It was delicious and came with a generous portion of house made chips. I enjoyed the cartoon murals on the wall... must have been by a local caricature artist, one of the drawings looked a lot like our waitress!! Friendly atmosphere among local people. If you go there, be sure to try the burger with the bacon bourbon jam... you'll be glad you did.

We got served immediately at this establishment. A tad bit off the beaten path but worth it. We didn’t eat but others were eating around us. Looked and smelled delicious. Bartender was very friendly and asked us a few times if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this place. The staff can make or break a place. Definitely good staff here
