Owner supports a fascist. Saves us a trip out there.

We had a party of 4 tonight. Fast service, great drinks & very good food. Keep it up!

I am unfortunately a yes and a no. We made a “reservation” for 7 pm for New Year’s….we arrived 30-40 min. early, as suggested….we ate at 940 pm. We got back into the dining room a little after 830 pm, but literally waited almost another hour between our salad and entrees. A group that arrived the same time as our group, and they had no “reservation,” were seated in the dining room approx. 10 min. after our group. Mind-boggling, w/ no explanation or apologies…..I checked at the desk a couple times and was told “we’re just waiting for tables to open.” However, a group that checked in immediately before our group, was called into the dining room over 45 min. before us, w/ countless names called in between. Nothing made sense. A better system is necessary. At 940 pm, we were barely even hungry anymore as everyone was so annoyed. The food was decent, but not for $100 for 2 people…..we’ll grill at home next year 😓

I should have known that things changed when I pulled into the parking lot. Only a hand full of cars. Walked into the bar, had my pick of where to sit. That has never happened. We were told the table number and had to find it ourselves. The worst prime rib ever. Raw, tough. New owners have no idea what they are doing. Very sad to see this establishment era over. Consider yourself warned!
We did send two dishes back, it was worse than the original plate!! All the years that we have eaten there, we were never ever served meat that was not edible!

We will never be back!! Prices sky high! $69.99 sale price King crab on wall come on! All four of our steaks raw, cold and I got sick with the worse ever in my life stomach & gut cramps & diarrhea a couple hours afterwards til morning!! We got there at 4:30 pm & we thought it was closed as hardly any cars & bar was almost empty. Usually this place has a packed parking lot with parking even down one side of street too in grass & cant find a place to sit or stand in bar with long waits of an hour or more. We thought cause their new astronomical prices or the Wisconsin game on but nope after we ate & cashier said new owners we figured out. No hot sizzling plates like they used to either. We ordered one medium 8oz tenderlion $29.99 came rare and cold, med rare 8oz $29.99 came very rare almost raw, and 2 med rare Large tenderloin came cold and raw. We thought was weird the waitress telling us to check our steaks first b4 setting our plates down. We sent them back after just eating a little thinking they were like years b4. Seems they cook the outside and so looks not raw but once get to one cut in from side & middle is very raw & cold. Coming back our medium was med rare but burnt on top, the rest were now burnt on top and over cooked on sides rare to med rare in middle but no taste to the steaks at all. This used to be our go to place for steak & prime rib for many many years. We hadn't been back in a couple years due to prices everywhere going up. We had a special occasion which was the 1st anniversary of my Mothers passing so my Dad, husband & daughter & I, who have loved The Pine Tree for over 10 yrs since we first heard of it, wanted to go to our special place for steak. We did not know there was an ownership change as we are not from this area but from Appleton. We found out from the cashier after we paid $170 for 4 of us & all separately thinking as we walked out "what the heck happened to this place??" After all talking on way home, we then read the reviews seeing that our experience was not a one time experience. Originally we thought it was just a bad night with a new cook at our same favorite place we've loved for years but now we know better and won't be back. Such a shame.

We’ve been 3 times in 6 months. Each time the ribeye or prime rib was either undercooked, chewy or dried out. That is not just one person, but 3-4 people’s experience. At first we returned it (and three attempts later it was “ok”). The last two times, we just gave up.

The Pecan Crusted Salmon was superb the first time, just ok the 2nd and dried out the last. Once a staple in the area, this is another supper club that can’t back up their prices with excellent food. How sad, but we won’t be back.

Very good seafood. Very generous servings. Great wait staff. Family run organization and it shows.

Food was good. There are scant vegetarian or vegan choices. We had poor man's lobster, in another words, broiled cod or haddock. Portions were ample but no vegetable. The atmosphere in the bar was what I expected in a north central supper club but the dining room was a bit too bright and sterile. All in all, it was decent but could use a little more character.

1st time coming to this supper club and it was delicious. The bartender let my wife and I know that Pine tree was known for the prime rib. Ordered the King cut and did not disappoint. Will be coming back again.

Ooof. This was a tough one. Husband and I came for dinner.

I ordered the tenderloin with deep fried shrimp and sweet potato fries. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well. $39.99

My husband ordered the ribeye with scallops in a wine butter sauce, cooked medium rare. $39.99+ $4.00 for the famous wine butter sauce.

Started with a salad. Basically, this was a mixed iceberg lettuce mix from Sam's club that included the carrots and radicchio-- straight up generic bag salad. Wasn't awful but for a restaurant that charges $30-50 per entree, I would have expected better.

My tenderloin came rare. (see picture). I asked for it to be refired for a moment. when it came back it was better but the center was still medium rare at best. Luckily, the aus jus was hot enough to "cook" my more rare pieces so I was able to eat. I guess if you have to serve a tenderloin with aus jus, you're probably doing something wrong. Very little flavor on it's own.

My sweet husband's steak came back medium well done, at best. He also asked for his to be refired (which, in 16 years of knowing him, this has only happened twice). Again, see pictures for anyone who may not believe it. Ribeye was bland with little to no flavor with out the Mccormick's aus jus.

The famous scallops in white wine and butter sauce-- what was this even? I love wine but haven't had a orange wine since I was drinking Boones farm in a field. The sauce was SO sweet... and orange? like, orange orange. Weird. Not good. And for $4 extra dollars, yikes.

Probably one of the worst meals we've ever had, start to finish.
