Wife stopped there with my sister and mother today.
My sister's wrap came out with a giant hair in it after waiting an hour. Even other patrons were complaining about timing. Saying things like "maybe I should go back and help the cook"
My wife got me some food to bring home to me. A salad and soup. It took over an hour because the soup was frozen?? This was at noon mind you.
She came home and gave me my Togo food and it was a small handful of pre dressed green leaf lettuce. When the salad was supposed to be ceaser. Meaning it should be romaine.
And the soup smells like it was scorched in the pot.
First and only time the rooster will get my money

The cheese on the Mac and cheese burger was admonishing, very good. Burger patty was made very well. Chicken tenders where also amazing. Fries are very similar to Red Robins, which I love. 13/10, loved it so much.

Came here because of the photo of the roadhouse burger on the reviews, so happy we did! Super fast service on a Friday afternoon during a busy all day fish fry special. Locals are friendly, too!

We are from out of town and went for the Friday Fish Fry. It's important to understand that I'm not Catholic, but I look forward to Lent every year so I can have fried cod. It's my favorite kind of fish and second favorite seafood. (I once had Coquilles St. Jaques in Limoges France and that's my favorite). But back to the Cod. It was the best, THE BEST, I ever had, and I order it whenever I can.
The decor was down home. It made me want to come back and see what each night of the week had to offer. When we go back to Wisconsin next year, we'll go to Rooster's for sure.

Roosters is not a place you would think about eating at, when you walk in the door off of the parking lot, it has a half dozen or so machines you can gamble on, and it is also the smoking area, not our thing, but that's what it is. When you walk into the restaurant, a bar is on the right side, and that was crowded. Greeted by a hostess who sat us immediately and took our beverage order, ordered a couple of beers ?, and got the menu. We knew what we wanted, Friday fish fry. This is our second time at Roosters, and like our first time, food came out quickly, was hot and delicious. Great prices...we will be back again.

Good food . Fish was good, but the coleslaw was tasteless. Other than that, it was great.. Well, average. Not horrible. I'd go back, given the choices in the area.

Absolutely love the fish fry! Employees have always been nice. The only thing is that it can get really busy (like 30min to 1+hr wait) especially during lent for fish, but that is expected for the great food!
Parking: They have an overflow parking lot across the street, but in the spring it can get pretty muddy.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu including a kids fish option for Friday nights. They also have high chairs available.

The star of the show, of course, is the fish fry. Whether it's golden-battered perch, flaky cod, each dish is expertly prepared to perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor, the fish fried or baked at the Red Rooster is nothing short of extraordinary.Accompanying the main course are classic sides such as creamy coleslaw and home made tangy tartar sauce. And let's not forget about the ambiance. With its cozy décor and friendly staff, the Red Rooster feels like a home away from home. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a family dinner, you'll feel right at ease in this charming Wisconsin gem.So, if you're craving a taste of the Midwest and a Friday night to remember, look no further than the Red Rooster. With its amazing fish fry and ever-changing potato specialties, it's the perfect place to kick back, relax, and indulge in some good old-fashioned comfort food.
