Good food . Fish was good, but the coleslaw was tasteless. Other than that, it was great.. Well, average. Not horrible. I'd go back, given the choices in the area.

Absolutely love the fish fry! Employees have always been nice. The only thing is that it can get really busy (like 30min to 1+hr wait) especially during lent for fish, but that is expected for the great food!Parking: They have an overflow parking lot across the street, but in the spring it can get pretty muddy.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu including a kids fish option for Friday nights. They also have high chairs available.

The star of the show, of course, is the fish fry. Whether it's golden-battered perch, flaky cod, each dish is expertly prepared to perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor, the fish fried or baked at the Red Rooster is nothing short of extraordinary.Accompanying the main course are classic sides such as creamy coleslaw and home made tangy tartar sauce. And let's not forget about the ambiance. With its cozy décor and friendly staff, the Red Rooster feels like a home away from home. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a family dinner, you'll feel right at ease in this charming Wisconsin gem.So, if you're craving a taste of the Midwest and a Friday night to remember, look no further than the Red Rooster. With its amazing fish fry and ever-changing potato specialties, it's the perfect place to kick back, relax, and indulge in some good old-fashioned comfort food.Parking: Free parking right next to the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Ramp available

We just held our belated Holiday party at Rooster's Roadhouse on Feb 22nd. The food menu items and appetizers that Diane and her staff prepared for our 23 company members was spectacular and delicious. Great time! Thank you!

We stopped by today to have some delish bloodies and burgers. I’m super picky about my bloody Mary’s and these were really good. The burgers were fantastic!!! Great, friendly service too! We’ll definitely be stopping again!

Drinks and Pool games at The Red Rooster with my Husband, David. My Grandparents, Bill & Bell Ward lived down the hill in Jewett in the home on the Willow River. I grew up living at my Grandparents every summer, every weekend, every school holiday's until they passed in 1984. Wonderful memories in this area and the Fall Family who owned the Red Rooster and lived in the home behind. My Grandparents originally lived in the four square house on this property before they bought the home by the river. Spent alot of time with the Fall teenage kids and their parents Harry and Bev Fall who owned the Rooster. Bev was a great cook and Harry was behind the bar. My Father, Patrick Moore had a German Polka Band and played many times over the many years on the stage in the ballroom! We have had many weddings, reunions and family events here! When I look back on my upcoming 60th Birthday, this area of Jewett for the first 20+ years of my life was my HOME! I Love this Bar and I Love this little piece of heaven in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Wonderful Memories, we had a great time visiting today! Also, I LOVE the vibrant RED updated color on the outside of the building. It is the original red color of the Rooster and it looks awesome! ❤️??
