Stopped there for dinner on Friday had a burger. Friend had a fish fry and we both had homemade potato soup. Everything was great.

Fish Fry was excellent & inexpensive compared to other restaurants . Bar maid was busy & also was our waitress, This lady was one hard worker & we left a nice tip . We will return to this establishment again !

Went there on Friday February 28th for fish fry and waited 30 minutes to be seated which was normal and expected. When we were seated waitress took drink order and brought right away. The problem was when she brought out drinks she took or food order and we never saw her after that. After 45 minutes we asked a girl who was busing tables but now appeared to be waitressing where order order was she stated bar was busy and we were next in line. Waited another 15 minutes (over one hour} and had to leave. Worst device in the world. Unfortunately I will never go back and never recommend again.

I've spent a couple hundred dollars here on food over the past few months, BUT the last time we stopped for a fish fry, my son asked the bartender (Chris or Kris) for more tartar sauce. She just walked away, so I asked a while later and got a snotty answer under her breath, but still no tartar sauce. By now my son has eaten half his fish with no tartar sauce. I asked a third time and got another snotty answer, but she finally brought more tartar sauce out. But by then we were almost done eating. It's a shame that she had to have a snotty attitude, because we will no longer spend our money here, and will not recommend this place to anybody.

After a 5-mile hike at Riveredge Nature Center, I was a bit hungry. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries and both were good. The service was excellent!

If you're looking for that small town pub where you can go to get some good food and talk with friendly people then this is the place for you! We stopped in for lunch and got burgers and fries which were pretty darn tasty. The service was super friendly (if slow), and we enjoyed some nice conversation about travel and small town life while waiting for our food. I definitely recommend dropping in, I know we'll be back for fish fry and their Thursday night special (different every week).
