We've visited several times for breakfast and dinner. The food is delicious. I had chorizo tacos w/rice & beans, a house margarita and a side of guac and chips. I love their chorizo, it is fine ground, tender and perfectly blended with seasonings. The guac has something xtra going on.. quite tasty. Oohh, the marg, yum. Not too tart and not too sweet, refreshing

We decided to drive around and experience the beauty of Wisconsin's fall colors and go out for dinner, I've been driving by Cocina Caliente for a while but haven't been able to stop by until today. That being said, I wish I had stopped in sooner. The nachos were a thing of beauty. The chips were crisp, and the toppings were nicely balanced; I ordered the carne Zamora, which was tender. Trust me, you won't need a knife to cut this steak. The beans and the potatoes were an excellent pairing. I left full and satisfied, and the wife ordered the flauta dinner. Everything was fantastic, now let's talk about the service; we were Greeted as As soon as we arrived and our server was a lovely woman with a very inviting smile, the big question would I go back, and that is, yes, absolutely
Parking: They have their own parking lot, and its a fairly large one
Kid-friendliness: It's a family place, I believe kids would benfine

I ordered from the taco truck number. The lady who answered never sent my order to the truck. Then the guy working doesn't have the beverage I asked for. Miscommunication. All the way around..

What a cute little gem of a place. I have driven by so many times and kept forgetting to plan a dinner there. I am so glad I finally got it scheduled last night. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is just lovely. Bright and colorful with some beautiful artwork and very pretty flowers in the windows.
The service was great. Friendly and welcoming, and very attentive. This time I got her name but I have forgotten it. Such a putz. She was so very sweet.
The food is just delicious. There was just one table of five and then our table of seven, and yes there was a bit of a wait. However I see that more of an assurance that the food is very fresh versus being premade and warmed/finished when ordered. And it WAS very fresh. We had a large variety of items ordered in our group and everyone loved it all. I made my own combo so I could try several items: Enchilada Dinner (cheese), Small Chicken Quesadilla, Ground Beef American Taco, and a Small Birria Chimichanga. I ate the whole taco (5" flour tortilla), 1 of the three enchiladas, and half of the quesadilla and chimichanga. Everything was so delicious. The birria is SO tender and juicy. I have the leftovers at work for lunch today and I can't wait.
Kid-friendliness: Kids definitely welcome. They do have a kids only menu as well.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Movable chairs and tables to accommodate.

Placed an order for 3 taco dinner at the food truck in south MKE, not at restaurant. Waited on food and once in car to eat, food was cold. Cold rice, cold bean and tacos were sorta warm. So disappointed, I left a good tip too. :(
