“Cheese Pan Pizza: Domino’s has its beginnings in 1960 when Michigan brothers Tom and James Monaghan purchased a small pizza restaurant chain called DomiNick’s. In 1965, an employee named Jim Kennedy suggested the name change to Domino’s. Following the new name was the creation of the company logo, which features a domino with three dots (representing the first three stores in 1965). Growing up, Domino’s was my family’s go to fast food pizza. This was somewhat to my displeasure as I preferred Pizza Hut in the 90’s, but Domino’s was closer to home and had better deals. For the 50th anniversary, Domino’s updated their pizza recipe, and the handmade pan pizza was introduced a couple years later in 2012. This was my first time trying the pan pizza and I was quicky won over by the rich, buttery flavored crust. My pizza was thick, but perfectly chewy and fluffy. It's a bit of a burn, but also compliment to say that this pizza reminded me of what pizza from Pizza Hut used to taste like as a kid (personal pan pizzas from The Hut in the 90s were my favorite back then). I topped my pan pizza with extra cheese and substituted the standard pizza sauce with a creamy and flavorful Alfredo. With all the cheese, sauce, and chewy crust my tastebuds were euphoric. Doughboy approved.
My favorite FAST FOOD pizza CHAINS:
1. Domino’s
2. Rocky Rococo’s
3. Pizza Hut

Both him and the crew that works with Trey are greatly appreciated. This Domino's has the best pizza of any place! Ten times over, I suggested.“
