We had a birthday party here this past Sunday and the taco bar was absolutely amazing. Everyone had a great time, and the service was so good!! I would recommend the Steel Moose to anyone! Thank you

The food here is pretty good. They can handle a pretty decent sized party here as well. They have a dining area on the other side of the bar that can easily seat 50+ people. I've only had pizza and chicken here and they were good each time.

Parking: Gravel parking lot

Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly, but remember the establishment is a bar.

Nice place to have a family dinner for a special birthday celebration. Meal service was a little slow as our plates were served with quite a lag between the first and last being brought out. (We were a group of 11 at one table.) Food was well-made and tasty though the veggies on my plate were of the frozen & reheated variety, thus soft and watery--very blah. Gravy for the mashed potatoes was lovely, fried/boasted chicken was excellent. Other diners in our group had a variety of wraps and burgers; the most remarkable was the Dubs Burger featuring two 1/3-lb patties. Our waitress was friendly, patient and efficient. They were out of pickles to make appetizers which was unfortunate, the cheese curds were very good!

Accommodations for my hubby in a wheelchair were very helpful, though the bathroom was NOT very navigable for him; the entry door in particular was very hard to use for someone with limited core mobility.

Parking: Gravel parking lot, no special handicapped slots that we could see.

We entered the Steel Moose on a Sunday evening around 6. Not busy at all so we sat at the bar. Enjoyed the broasted chicken dinner but left with a headache. We have been in many different types of establishments and bars and never has it been this bad. The patrons at the bar were extremely loud and obnoxious. We could not even talk to each other it was so loud. The other patrons totaled 5 people. The bartender was new and another patron (she worked there to ) was helping her running back and forth in between helping her and drinking. It honestly felt like it was very very late in the evening. Will not be back!

Food was very good and very reasonable. I had all you can eat shrimp. It included salad bar which also had soup there. It was very filling and very tasty. I will go back again.

Let me start this off by saying that I don't do reviews and I don't complain about food often. I feel, however, that my experience this evening deserves a formal Facebook review. So it starts where most people decide take-out is the best option, not knowing what or wanting to cook. I called to order and was denied of my favorite dish, Lasagna. That parts not the problem, they were just out. So I decided to order the Spaghetti and Meatballs special. I was told that it came with a breadstick and soup or salad. I went to pick up my order and that went fine, very nice staff, but got home and realized they forgot my soup... now I'm a bit more disappointed. It was a hard decision after they told me they were also out of Lasagna soup. I tried to call them back twice only to find out their voicemail wasn't working. Now we get into the spaghetti. I've got one word for it, whack! I mean school cafeteria worked by convict army cooks whack. Now I've had to eat MREs for weeks at a time, so I mean it when I say I don't complain much about food. You would think that something on the week day specials would be... special... right? Not the spaghetti. Let's start with the noodles. Not much to say here except they weren't cooked all the way. The sauce, literally just basic Huntz out of a can. They seemed to have sprinkled some mozzarella on top for dramatic effect. The sauce to noodle ratio was also WAY off, too little sauce. But the meatballs, oh the poor meatballs, were the worst. The meatballs were your Great Value brand frozen meatballs. The worst part about them is THEY WEREN'T EVEN IN THE SAUCE! They were circled around the noodles and sauce... DRY! I thought it was a known fact that the meatballs are sautéed in the sauce... guess not. It was a very unsatisfying experience and left me a hollow shell of who I once was. I couldn't even finish my meal. I don't mean to be dramatic or rude but this experience was depressing to say the least. I know what I'm talking to my therapist about in next weeks session. They weren't even cooked in the sauce... very sad. WILL SAY THIS! The atmosphere and staff are great, fun place to be... just not for spaghetti.

Leaving the restaurant was the best part of the night. From the moment I stepped foot through the door I knew I was gonna be in for a wonderful experience as there was one waitress in the entire restaurant. When I sat down and order my food I went over to play darts, and as is a recurring theme with this restaurant, the darts were subpar and of very poor quality, so much so that they were impossible to get them to stick to the dartboard. As I finished throwing darts I went back to my table and looked across the room and saw the source of numerous issues in the restaurant. The Salad Bar. The family of 8 that sat across from me was so enamured with it that you would think it was one of their newborn children. They were constantly picking stuff up, putting it back, and smelling the items at the salad bar. This was not only behavior of the children but of the simple minded adults. Which reminded me that the apple does not fall far from the tree. At a similar time I was watching my waitress put my order into the computer system. Watching her struggle do that was similar to putting a keyboard in front of caveman and watching him type sentences. After about 4-6 businesses days the food finally arrived at the table. The chicken wings were drier than sand, the burger was a literal hockey puck, and the chips were a greasy mess. I’m convinced the 5 stars are from customers being served a lot of alcohol as that is probably what I need after eating here. Needless to say this establishment is an embarrassment to the state of Wisconsin and Tony Evers should not be happy with places like this existing in his state

Stopped in while I was traveling through and there aren't many places left like Steel Moose. The cheese burger was phenomenal and paired well with the cheese curds. It was all around delicious and the staff was very friendly!
