Super cute shop! My sister and I checked out another coffee shop from our 2024 WI Coffee Shop Passport! Great selection of delicious coffee drinks, teas, and ice cream (we had turtle and peanut butter!), lots of hand-crafted decor and accessories from local artists. Hours of operation are awesome- open long enough to get to after work!
Very cute coffee shop. I was unpleasantly surprised when my large vanilla latte was $13! Wow, that too expensive for me to go back.

Today I took a nice trip to The Shop on Maine at 821 Main St, Oconto, WI. The interior and exterior are built around an old automobile service centre. There are posters, old equipment of the old service shop. I ordered a raspberry psstry coffee, and a chocolate dipped biscotti. The staff was very nice and explained what was available in the baked goods section. The seating section was small but was adequate.

I work in Oconto and love ordering a few drinks for myself and a couple coworkers a couple times a month. We order online and I run over and grab it when it’s ready. I always have awesome service met with smiles from the younger people working. (Which is awesome to see these days!) Today I had no such luck. The two ladies working didn’t even acknowledge me. So I waited figuring they were just busy at the moment, one was making orders and the other was at the counter waiting to take someone’s order and then started making it. I let quite a few minutes go by before I had to interrupt them and ask if my online order was ready. Neither of these ladies had a smile or a welcoming response. I’m hoping that I just came at a bad time and this isn’t going to be the service I am met with on my future visits. An acknowledgment and a smile go a long way and make customers feel welcome and appreciated. 😀
