We stopped at six breweries in the La Crosse area over the course of three days and this was the best beers by a landslide. We did a flight and all were solid. The porter was especially amazing, even on a hot day. We met the owners (Todd and Jennifer) and they were great to talk to as well.
They only have snack type food and allow outside carey-in for food, but are working on their kitchen setup so expect that to change in the near future.
Our only regret with Skeleton Crew was stopping on the last day of our visit, as it meant we could not stay as long as we wanted to. We will definitely be back.

Had an awesome night here with our Rising Starr K9 alumni group. Jennifer greeted us with a hand-drawn chalk version of our logo on the sidewalk—never had a business do that before. The staff was welcoming, the drinks were solid, and the atmosphere was relaxed and dog-friendly.
We showed up with 9 people and 6 trained dogs—no chaos, no problems, just good dogs, structure, and a great community vibe.
This place gets it. Appreciate the support and hospitality. We'll be back.
Courtney was a friendly, attentive host! I really enjoyed the huckleberry sour and mango milkshake IPA, and they're normally not styles I enjoy so the brewers clearly know how to appeal to all crowds! The scotch ale (like all Wisconsin scotch ales I've tried) is top notch. I can't speak to any of the wine, but most does appear sweet/fruit based of that's your vibe. I loved the pirate theme and decor! We will be back next time we're in the area.

Skeleton Crew Brew is a different brewery for the area. They have a lot of fruit forward beers and they also do wine, flights are available for each. Peach, mango, apricot....once you step in you'll get they have a beach theme. For their beers on my last stop they had Belgian tripel, passion fruit orange guava, peach cereal ale, mango IPA, black currant sour, NEDIPA, and a honey nut brown. Now I heard they have some dark beers coming soon which would be great considering I am not a fruit beer person but I still liked them. On top of that the owner was nice and the beer tender was off the charts friendly. I wAm guessing I will be back.

Went here based on friends suggestion....not bad just not our favorite. I'm sure people like the vibe this place puts out but just not our cup of tea?♀️ The wine was pretty good? Don't think we will be back but at least we tried it??
