Not sure what happened but I went in for the quesadilla burger and they didn't have it anymore. Menu is significantly smaller and the food wasn't nearly as good as it used to be which is too bad. I liked it before the decline.

I had no idea it was under new ownership, but that explains a lot. We used to love the menu here, but couldn’t believe how minimal the selections are now. It took about 15 mins. for the server to come to the table and 35 mins to get our drinks. When the food finally came out, I got the appetizer I ordered and she never heard me order my entree. I gave up at that point because I’d be waiting another hour. We have no reason to come back, unfortunately.

Oshkosh location, the breakfast was edible but not any quality at all. If you ordered anything off the menu there was a 30 minute to 40 minute wait with rarely any business. Decided to go with the buffet and that was definitely the wrong choice. People were friendly but staff seemed confused. Hope the management can step up their game on food quality, the location is beautiful!!

Had an annual lunch meeting here, a group of nine. Service was excellent and server pleasantly offered individual checks. All were accurate, as were the orders. I believe all were pleased with their meals and we were not rushed out of our lovely room with a view of the Fox River. Oh, food presentation was very good; I had the idea the Smash burgers, though very good, were a victim of shrinkflation.

My friend and I recently ate here and both had the cheeseburger. It truly was one of the best I have had in a long time. I love a good burger and this did not disappoint

They're in the middle of transitioning after the hotel was purchased, but instead of closing to change things over, they remain open with a tiny menu.We were inundated with bees out on the docks while we ate, and the food wasn't anything to write home about.The only thing that went well were with the drinks, which were all excellent.The young man serving outside did great, as it seemed that they really did nothing to train him (he was new), but he did very well with what he had.

Recently brought a large group in. We were hesitant due to the not so great reviews about the restaurant transitioning.. but so glad we did! Food, drinks, and staff were all amazing!!

I am gonna give the most honest opinion of my life called a night in advance to let them know gonna have 30+ people at 530 all of us showed up on time were seated immediately then 45 mins later we all finally got our drinks which were 90% sodas. Wife had a bloody garbage looked great drink was light as can be took one drink said was way to spicy so swapped it for a tequila sunrise which was 80% alcohol then another half hour past everyone was finally able to order but wait oh they forgot the 4 of us no biggie let ten mins pass then finally said something and was able to order I would only provide a 1 star but the food was amazing had double smash burger with bacon and fries wife had a dried out grilled chicken she was not impressed so food 7 out of ten just cause of my burger service 2 out of 10 atmosphere 8 out of 10 cause of the river view all and all if your not in a hurry and have time to wait for bad drinks a bartender that dosent seem to care bout there job slow service but good food definitely a place to check out glad we were inside can't imagine what would of happened if we were all on the patioParking: Need better signage for the restaurant hotel has signs parking garage has signs but if your not on the main road good luck finding the restaurant

So disappointing!! We loved going to Ground Round and sit outside. We will not be back. Outside service wasn’t open because it was windy?! The menu is a joke 2 sandwich choices no entrees. The flatbread was soggy and gross. The shrimp tacos weren’t much better. The waitress was horrible, we felt like we were an inconvenience to her. Disappointing!!
Shame on you Ground Round. Been coming here for years. And on a beautiful Sunday afternoon you don't have your outside bar open. And your NEW menu is terrible.. no variety. I feel bad for your servers who take the heat on this terrible place now.You are a NEW owner on PRIME real estate.. The River!! But can'tseem to understand how to serve the potential customers you could have. That is bad business.

Having dinner on the river is nice but extremely limited options. With the name, I was thinking more specialty burgers but had 1 plain burger n chicken sandwich as options.. the new 'owner' was talking to people he knew about the server offering an additional menu and drink specials and we never got that. Nor did they until he went inside and we still did not with the same server... The location is beautiful, but for dinner with all the other options close by, I won't be back.

Great fast service, very friendly staff. The odd thing was that with a full hotel, at a peak time the restraunt was about empty. Part of the reason I believe was th very limited menu that was just set up recently. Seems like a questionable decision. Especialy when the 2 near by restraunts that are on the river with boat access were absolutely packed this one had less than 10 people. It could of been just coincidence but seemed a bit weird.
