The Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Hu Hot is more like a fast food restaurant no waitress you pay on the way in if you get a grill meal, there’s soft serve ice cream at the self serve drink station. White rice is available at the end of the grill line. You made it so if you don’t like it, you can only blame yourself.

This is one of my favorite places to eat, but one big issue is that I have boys and the men’s bathroom does not lock and doesn’t close properly. It has been addressed a few times when we go. It hasn’t been fixed yet. It is a safety concern for children and their privacy. But the food is great! And most of the waiters/waitresses are amazing!

Great food prepared right infront of you. No issues on most visits however the last time I was there i had to be careful what silverware I picked as some still had food chunks on it... that was kinda gross!

High quality food (minus the occasional past it's prime vegetable). Your visit's biggest variable will be whoever is cooking. We've had some mediocre & some excellent associates at the grill. Ingredient choices are fresh & varied. If you have food allergies or are vegetarian and particular about the possibility of meat items potentially coming in contact with your food it's not recommended. Sauces are plentiful. They even include suggestions for sauce combinations above that station. We miss the egg option for fried rice & bok choy was absent from the selections on our most recent visit. The baby corn tasted sour & the water chestnuts had a slime to them plus an off flavor. One bathroom in need of repairs at our location. The staff attitude was laid back but in a calm not an uncaring way. Kinda pricy but great for experimenting, customizing, or if you already make tasty stir fries at home but want someone else to do the prep.

I have never had a bad experience here. This place is great! The best huhot left. This one deals with customer influxes and quickly responds to problems on the buffet. Overall the most worth it buffet experience you can get in 2025.
