I was HANGRY — like throw-a-chair-through-a-window level hangry. Cousins Subs? DEAD TO ME. They don’t take cash, they don’t care, and their roast beef tastes like it was cryogenically frozen in 1994 and thawed in a car trunk. Trash.
Enter: JIMMY JOHN’S — my sandwich savior ⚡️. I called. I pleaded. I whispered, “Do you take cash?” And they said YES. Like a hero in a bread cape, they showed up FAST, no questions asked.
The sandwich? INSANE. Roast beef stacked like it had rent due 💸, bread that hugged my soul 🥖, and flavor that made me believe in love again ❤️. I almost cried when the delivery guy handed it to me — not all heroes wear capes, some carry subs.

First time in years to a JJs..Spent $50 on two giant spicy Italians #7. No spicy to that Italian. Forgot peppers on those giant sandwiches. Called and they wanted the sandwiches back in order to make new ones, but can’t be partially eaten. (of course they were partially eaten, that’s how I found out). With a 10 minute drive and an eta of 30min turn around time from my house I decided I didn’t want to go back out. I have had places give a free replacement sandwich for my next visit instead of making it inconvenient for me.

Seems like they stepped their taste game up. I've been going there quite often lately because of that.
this place has really gone downhill over the years. I’ve only gone here a couple of times in the last year or so. Today, my fiancé and I walked in and the place smelled really bad. Like someone needed to pour water down a P-trap. It was some kind of foul smell. Anyway, we decided to still eat lunch there. The sodas do not taste very carbonated and all you really taste is syrup. I’ve tried a couple different sodas today thinking maybe it was just that specific one, it wasn’t. I tried Barq's Rootbeer and then I also tried Dr Pepper. I saw reviews about not giving out napkins. That also happened to us today. They did not put any in our bag so we had to request some. Anyway, the biggest complaint I have is whatever was in the Food got my fiancé and I diarrhea today. it didn’t happen ultimately right away, we had lunch around noon, went home to watch TV, didn’t really eat much of anything else other than potato chips and took a nap. After we woke up, our stomachs were turning and we both had major gas at first... Then the other part I just mentioned. I ordered the Garg, usually my favorite sub and that’s the only thing I’ve ever eaten at any Jimmy John’s. My lady ordered the Caesar wrap. I also think they should say thanks for stopping in and come again but every time I leave, nobody ever says a damn thing. Like, patrons are the one paying your paycheck when they come in to get food. A little Customer Service goes a long way. Especially thanking a customer for coming in.

The guy making my sandwich was chit chatting with his co-workers and completely forgot to even put half the toppings I requested. Really skimped out on the toppings that were present on the sandwich. I got a giant sub and had more bread than toppings. For $15, spend your money elsewhere. The jimmy johns on Wisconsin st is 100x better
