We have been going to Parnell's for 30 years and never had an issue until tonight. My husband ordered paddock and it was great as always. I thought I'd try the froglegs. What a mistake. Overly SALTY. I complained and she took $3.50 off my bill. I wanted something else. Of course I didn't finish them. I'm still hungry. Why!!!

The atmosphere was fine. Although, the majority of the patronage were white people. The only black people were me and my cousin. The customer service was great and the food was good. It would not be a good place if you are concerned with being the only person of color in the restaurant.

Hometown atmosphere with a bar up front and tables in the back for dining. Reasonable prices , lots to choose from the menue. We went for Friday night fish which was wonderful. I even had frog legs. It gets crowded early and they don't take reservations except for certain nights. They have an unique system. When you come in the door for eating, they give you a number and call for you to be seated.

Waited fat too long for a table. Kept getting told 5 more minutes. Ended up at outside table with the mosquitoes. Food good but a lot was out when we were seated. Given menus as soon as got there but could only order drinks until seated..

Decided on Parnell's for a fish fry tonight. What a disappointment. It's been a while since we've been here, but until tonight, I would have said this was one of the best fish frys in the area. Twenty something dollars for three overcooked, dinky, perch butterflies, a tablespoon of coleslaw, a tablespoon of tarter sauce, couple slices of bread and a good amount of fries. This place used to be outstanding, not any more.
Very nice comfortable bar. Great chicken. We also go for their Friday Perch. It's real Perch!!

We have been coming for the Sunday chicken dinner for a few years now. It was always excellent. The last few times we were disappointed with chicken dinner. We thought we would try it one more time. Today was the last time! The chicken was over cooked and burnt! No more chicken here!
