My experience on Monday was so good, I repeated it on Thursday! The service is excellent -- the food, magical; the cocktails mixed perfectly. Steak on Monday, pork chop on Thursday. Goat cheese curds both days -- a must have if you've never tried them.

Top quality dining experience. From our greeting to our exit, the staff was engaging and professional. Our server Beth was very knowledgeable about all of the menu selections, and helped us in making the perfect meal selection.

First thought pulling in realizing it's in a country club... Gunna be hard to find parking or hard to locate a host.
Plenty of parking, walk in instantly greeted.
Every staff member we spoke were very polite and cheerful.
Our waitress explained the menu very well.
We ordered waygu steak, filet, and au gratin potatoes.
Steaks could be cut with a butter knife.
Potatoes were exactly like mom's homemade mac and cheese with potatoes instead of noodles.
The presentation of food was very pleasing to our eyes.
Definitely will be back. The steak is easily in our top 5. Close to Smith and wollenskis in Chicago.

Excellent place to buy gift cards. TJ Highlands does an exceptional job of tracking individual cards, thus instilling confidence in the process. Further, who doesn't want to receive a gift card from the best restaurant in town!?

Although known as a dinner restaurant, lunch is also an excellent time to visit. The restaurant was quiet, and the menu was more limited, but that's exactly what we were looking for on a 1pm seating.

Love the atmosphere, the food is solid but not 4 or 5 star. For example you pay 18$for cheese of curds but you mostly get fried breading as the cheese has fallen all out. The staff are great, Ken is good and regis too!

Easter brunch 2pm slot was subpar. All the food was not fresh, could tell potatoes and charcuterie had been sitting out for some time. Being the last slot I understand clean up, but being told that there was a last call after 1 hour of a two hour slot seemed rushed

$52 a head for Sunday Brunch. Worst I have ever had. Food was cold, stale and tasteless. Could have used one of their donuts for a hockey puck. Was there any vodka in that screwdriver? I wouldn't go back there for a cup of coffee

The atmosphere and service were great, but $160 for 2 people without beverages is on the high side. I had the dry aged New York strip, which didn't have a ton of flavor for being aged for 40 days. The lobster creamed corn was fantastic, but I am not going out to dinner for a side. The main course should be the highlight. My wife really liked the beef wellington, so great job there. Overall, I would say there are better places to eat in Oshkosh, especially for the value and of you venture a bit further you will find better food for the same amount of money.

We visited for the first time to celebrate my dad's birthday and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere and décor were fantastic, with comfortable chairs that created a cozy, home-like vibe, especially with the warm lighting. The fireplaces added a perfect touch, especially with the snow falling outside. Our server, Amber, was amazing—she gave great recommendations and thoroughly described the dishes for us. We appreciated the a la carte style, which allowed us to mix and match sides in generous shareable portions for 2-3 people. Everything came out all at once, which was a nice change from the typical experience of dishes arriving one by one. The food was exceptional—beautifully plated, fresh, and delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, perfect for special occasions. While it’s on the pricier side for an average meal, it was absolutely worth every penny.

Gave it a try for restaurant week in Oshkosh. It is a bit more upscale than I had anticipated but very charming. Service was very good, and I had a delicious smash burger. Overall, very nice place.

Once again I have had a bad experience with a TJ’s restaurant. We ate at TJ Highland House last year for restaurant week and it was excellent. This year it was terrible. I had the Chinese sticky pork ribs and the “Wagyu” skirt steak. Two of my ribs wer OK but the third was a dried up end piece that was tougher than jerky. The Wagyu main course was inedible. We were not given a choice of how well done “because the steak is too thin for that” according to our waitress. Mine was rare and it was so tough that I literally could chew it long enough to swallow even a small piece. I even had trouble cutting through it with a steak knife. My wife had the Whitefish served on mashed potatoes. Her fish was over cooked and dry. Not a very good showing for the one week a year you get to show something special. I have had good meals here but the last few have been very disappointing. TJ’s restaurants are very inconsistent and it is not worth the risk anymore.
