Visited for lunch with a group. The restaurant is very elegant and comfortable. Max, our server, was wonderful! Everyone's food was great.

Was surprised when the waiter billed us 3% for cc use. We were told the new policy is clearly posted upon entry, however, this is not true. See the attached pic It’s near the bathrooms and not very legible as you pass by. Therefore we second requested the additional $ be removed from our $650 invoice. The manager refused and that’s a shame. We spend upwards of 3-4 thousand annually at TJs but may opt out and find a more reasonable place

This is a really special place to eat. I loved the atmosphere- very cozy, but at the same time, you have room to move around and you are not in top of other tables. The BAR is awesome. Lovely special drinks, and draft beers. Many scotch and whiskey choices. The dining room was beautiful. Plaid and fluffy highland coos are abundant with St. Andrew and royalty adorning the walls. Most of the food was delicious and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the brussels sprouts were wayyy overdone, in my opinion. I like a sprout with a little life left in in. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the beef wellington pastry was crispy, the au gratin potatoes had an interesting blend of cheeses with maybe a little nutmeg thrown in. Our bartender, and waitress were GREAT!!! The French martini was a super star.

It's a nice place, the drinks were good, everyone was friendly, but the food is extremely overpriced and not worth what you pay. If they get the menu sorted out, or we're just staying at the bar, I would return.

Ordered the goat cheese curds appetizer, came out as one lump of breading and cheese... The 55$ steak I was expecting to be by far the best steak I ever had and it just wasn't. Had high hopes and was disappointed. The server and the bartenders were great though.

The dinner was good, but not great, like I expected. We did get seated where we requested to get seated. Drinks were prepared excellently. I ordered a Flat Iron Steak that was listed in the menu to come with green onions, there were no green onions. The steak was done perfectly and was mouth watering. When it came to after dinner drinks, there were only three ice cream drinks available. I inquired as to the possiblity of unique ice cream drink being made (Golden Cadillac). I was informed that the bar did not have a blender and only served pre-made pre-frozen ice cream drinks. Not what I was expecting for a restaurant of this caliber. The other issue was the noise level. I understand there is little that can be done about that regarding the unique architecture of the business, but if you are looking for an intimate dinner, this is probably not the place to go.

Restaurant is beautiful, elegant, service wonderful. However; the food is just okay. For prices there you think Morton's or Eddie Merlots. But it's just not in that ballpark. Lobster bisque was so heavy handed on the sherry couldn't eat it & advised waitress. Surprised no chefs in back were trying after making. The staff made it right & removed from bill after chefs tried some in back. So no complaints about service, just food is okay each time we give them another shot.

Tried the truffle pig menu and was not impressed. Sour taste to sauce in clam linguine, noodles mixed with sauce became quite gummy. Chicken overcooked and tough in chicken parm. Cacio w Pepe very dry. Was hoping for truffle on the menu but there wasn't much of anything with truffle.

We have been to Tj's several time and most times its been a very enjoyable time and experience, this time was different. The service was exceptionally slow and inaccurate. There were 4 in our party and we were celebrating my wife and my 47th anniversary. 1. It took what seemed like forever to get our drinks. 2. My brother in law ordered a second beer which never came (we were not charged) 3. My wife's salmon was dry 4. My wife's baked potato did not come out until our meal was almost over. 5. The wait staff was not engaging or even friendly 6. It seemed that many tables were added to the floor to accommodate more people but that made the floor seem very tight even though many of the tables were empty. 7. The overall food quality was fair, not bad but not great as it has been in the past. Overall while I really want Tj"s to be my go to for high end dining based on this last visit it will not be

Service was good, my wife's lobster was good and the sides were good. Rib-eye steak was not so good. Since it is supposed to be prime quality, I expected better quality (chewey/sinew/lacking flavor).

THE GOAT CHEESE CURDS WERE BEYOND DELICIOUS! ORDERED W AY TOO MUCH FOOD BUT IT IS SO DELICIOUS! ALACART CAN MAKE THE MEAL EXPENSIVE BUT MY HUSBAND ENJOYED CELEBRATING HIS 75TH BIRTHDAY THERE! AND THE DRAFT BEERS TO CHOOSE FROM WERE VERY REASONABLE! GREAT NIGHT OF GREAT FOOD!
