Great food in a small-town Cafe atmosphere. Love the corn fritters!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options and some items that could be fairly easily modified. They make their salads with good greens and no iceberg lettuce, which is a big plus, in my opinion.

It's a good day

I ordered the country fried steak and my husband order the skillet. He’s used to getting skillets on a cast iron not a plate. The menu offers two country fried steaks which you don’t normally see. Everything was cooked wonderfully but the gravy could’ve used a little more work. All around I would recommend this place and we will be going back for another try.

This is a real family place. Went on Sunday before Christmas for an appreciation dinner for those who support the diner. The owner is super nice and showed their love of their customers by providing this meal. Most, if not all, gave donations to help defray the cost of the day. Overall, it was a nice time for all. Good food, too.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at Frannie Mae's. The last time that I did it was still called Maggie Mae's.The attached all-night laundromat is my main reason for going there. There have been significant upgrades to the laundromat since it changed to Frannie Mae's. All of the machines are new, including 1 new oversized washer. The only machines that are not new are 2 of the 3 oversized washers.

Food is awesome but they like to leave the phone hanging off the line for hours so it's never possible to order anything to-go.
