we don't go there that often because of the price but get trout every time and they clean it however you want it and it tastes amazing

We were at Rushing Water for the cajun meal this last Sunday. The food was very good, they only had one bar tender working so it took quite a while to get a drink. When we were finishing our meal A lot a guy came up to our table and started to grab plates off the table. He knocked over a full glass of wine which he refilled but did not even acknowledge the he had splashed red wine over the front of my wife’s blouse. Even though we pointed it out. Do not know we we would patronize this establishment after that experience

We purchase Rushing Waters products daily in our local stores. The customer appreciation event last weekend was fantastic. What a memorable time and very worth the 40 minute drive. The new cranberry salad is delicious. Thank you for the enjoyable experience and amazing salmon! We will be back!

Absolute rudest and arrogant staff ever. Told me they close fishing at 3:00 when I called. Got here at 2:30 to take my kids fishing for 30 minutes. Told me I can't fish and actually asked me why I waited till last minute? Made up some lame excuse about parties already fishing. Failed to tell me on the phone an hour prior. Business must be booming I guess. Congrats to this small and family unfriendly business. They certainly held their ground. 0 stars if I could.

Best fish fry I had in a long time. My Wife ordered the cod and I had the trout. Both very good. The biscuits were great as well. Wish I could have had a few more!!! Price was reasonable and the staff and venue were very nice.

Fishing made easy. We had 3 trout weighing in at a combined 3.66 pounds in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later we had filleted trout in a bag of ice and some smoked trout, salmon and spread to go.
This place has some special stuff. Their trout and salmon filets, salmon burgers and salmon jerkey are my favorites, but everything is 5 of 5. Oh, the spreads are also insanely good. Service is also 5 of 5, and 100% of the time in my vast experience. There is a 1-star review here based solely on a single experience that quite frankly sounds made up, and solely about some sort of perceived less-than-perfect service level, but every other review is a 5-star. To say this place is only a 4.6-star place is way light IMO. It is 4.99 of 5 in the long run, no doubt about it. I'm a dude that loves salmon, as well as trout. I obtain both of these types of fish's meat in numerous forms and on a weekly basis from several suppliers. If Rushing Waters was closer to me, I'd narrow it down to one, maybe two. However, if I were able to narrow it down to only two, the other supplier would be a nearby river, and would only be for trout. BTW, I will not reveal this trout spot for less than one billion dollars. DM me if interested and can prove you have the requisite funding.

We booked a birthday party for our 7 year old at Rushing Waters. Our son and everyone else had an excellent time.
This place is very cool and has a ton of history dating back almost 100 years.
They have an awesome little store with all sorts of fresh, frozen and smoked fish. Assorted snacks and beverages. And some other cool stuff.
The fishing is super fun and easy. They cleaned and bagged the fish.
There is also a great looking restaurant here. I look forward to coming back for a fish fry or other special events.
Finally, the staff was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about how great this place is.

I attended a mushroom growing workshop here, and had a wonderful time! Nice place, friendly, helpful people, and new things to learn. They're going to be hosting monthly kids' fishing tournaments over the summer, and are piloting a Friday fish fry as well; very fun!

I had a great experience today with my family. The employees made the experience pleasant and the fish are fantastic tasting. I have enclosed a couple of photos to tell you how I felt about the quality of the fish. My wife made the fish tonight. You can see what she made and in five minutes we ate the wonderful rainbow trout. I highly recommend this facility. It is a fun family experience with excellent fish.
