Best food, best drinks, great service, the owners are great people. Oh, try the desserts and pull tabs too.

We just go into town from a 5 hour drive and we’re craving a fish fry. We took a chance because it was late and hungry. We thought they were closed because there was only one car in the parking lot. Surprisingly yes, the kitchen was open. Super quaint and charming inside. Very warm feeling. Staff had outstanding hospitality. Fish fry was superb. Coleslaw was amazing. Pie and cheesecake for dessert. Very pleasant. Would highly recommend. Thank you for refilling my water bottle, as all local stores are closed and too far away.

No skeeters. Quality burger and chicken sandwiches. Nice view of the swamp and slow- moving stream as we dined.

Had fish fry tonight! OMG, the flavor and breading on the fish was so delicious! The service was excellent, thank you Adam! And you made us feel so welcome. Will be back again!

A quaint fun place to be. Great homemade food. Fish fry is excellent as well as the hand breaded mushrooms and onion rings. You can’t beat the ribs when they are on the menu. The bartender makes wonderful drinks. Just a great place to stop in when you’re in the north woods.

This is the second time we’ve come for fish fry. The deep fried cod was delicious! Yummy Fries. They offer a loaded baked potato with the fish fry as well and that was also very good. Bartender makes a very good drink. Cute place, currently nicely decorated for Christmas.

Stopped to reminisce and had some of the best cheese curds and fried pickles we've had up in the North woods. The drinks were also well made and delicious! We'll be back, Adam!

This is a must stop on the snowmobile

I've never left a bad review before, but this place needs to know that improvement is needed.Wasn't busy but it still took over half an hour to get our first drink. Food took THREE HOURS, and our glasses sat empty for half that time because the server rarely came around. No one was playing the juke box so we sat there in silence the whole time. If we had known the area better we would have gone to Birches near by. Would NOT recommend.Recommendations to management: First, on a Friday night in August having one guy as the bartender and server is insufficient. (Same with having a single cook) Second, you need to invest in a POS system. It took the server a very long time to settle up bills with a pen and paper.

Whether I'm snowmobiling in the winter or fishing in the summer, I make a point to always eat here. Always super friendly staff. If ribs are on the menu they're amazing. Outstanding fish fry, haddock not offered at most places. The poutine is epic & can feed an army, then some. Very cool rustic atmosphere. A Northwoods staple.

We have eaten at the Frontier Inn a few times. The food is good. It is on par with other restaurants (Chico's, Springstead Lodge) in the area. It has a great rustic ambience.
