If you are going to have a prime rib special, it should be today's prime rib. I am pretty sure this gray, dried out puece of meat I received that was supposed to be medium rare, was maybe medium rare last week Saturday and got re-warmed so many times it couldn't take any more.

We loved coming here and they had a great menu. They made some staffing changes and unfortunately the service has really gone down hill. Takes forever to get service once seated and even service at the bar is not the same. There was a great staff before that were personable and prompt to get to you and now who they have there just don't seem to care all that much. The food unfortunately has also changed. They removed signature items from the menu like the Miscauno Burger, blue burger, etc. We looked forward to coming and having a great time but now we only go for pizza (which is very good) and when we know we have an evening with nothing else going on since the service can be very slow. Disappointing to see a unique landmark to the area being updated to mainstream.

They are understaffed, therefore the service was slow. The food was fast & average tasting. There was a very loud table full of drunk patrons that made it very uncomfortable for the rest of the restaurant.

The food really went down hill. Heard somebody else is managing it. Using cheap meats and ingredients. Not good. Won't go back unless I hear the food improved. Too bad to, was one of our favorite spots. Not alot of good eating places up here.

Recommended dishes: Pretzel
We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. It was edible but not worth the price . We would never go back there to eat . The facility is beautiful and we were expecting so much more especially for the price of the food . Only thing that was prepared well was the soft pretzel appetizer. The steak nachos were not good. They were very cheaply made and had no flavor . I make them better at home . My child’s grilled cheese was almost burnt and the fries had a funny taste . Chicken wings were rubbery and very chewy. I was hoping to try the fine dining restaurant at the resort, but I think we will skip it after this .One positive the service was wonderful . That is why I am giving them 2 stars .
Great place to go for a getaway!

Great casual family bar and restaurant attached to the Four Seasons Island Resort.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu has a decent variety and price.
Parking: Plenty of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps going into the Boundary Waters
The food is absolutely horrible. Go somewhere else or skip dinner. The salad I ordered was moldy and the bread on the burger bun was absolutely stale. I was very shocked as the hotel the bar is attached to is absolutely lovely.
Our family of 12 went on a weeknight and had a wonderful experience. The picturesque patio is next to the first tee where the grandkids frolic on the hillside and enjoyed seeing the deer grazing nearby. Every one loved the appetizers of boneless wings and cheese curds. We also enjoyed the entrees of sandwiches, mac/cheese and pizza. The reuben sandwich was outstanding. Our server, K-Rizzie, was very attentive.
