My partner and I stayed in Pepin for the Christmas market and grabbed breakfast at this adorable spot. It was decorated like a Christmas movie and the food was delicious! I recommend the biscuits and gravy! Even had a little time after eating to sketch some of the beautiful decor inside. ❤️ pic of sketch in comments :)

We had a wonderful breakfast there today. We have eaten there often, always a pleasant experience except for today. I had asked for decaf coffee refill & they were making it. Several customers were getting refills, but I patiently waited. When the bill came, we were asked how everything was, I politely said I would have liked my coffee refilled. The waitress then called me rude to which I apologized to her. Apparently that was not enough as she complained how rude I was all the way back to the counter. What a humiliating experience! No apology from her!! Doubtful we will ever go back, so sad because we really like the food. This ruined our entire day!!

Menu prices were deceiving, they have bottles of water and not regular water, specials listed without prices. I asked how much the special was and heard the manager tell the waitress it was a lower price, waitress gets to the table and added a $1.00.
Kids Mac n’ Cheese with option to get fries as add on, charged $5.95 for a small basket of fries and told after that the fries aren’t an add on for the kids Mac n’ Cheese meal.
Lemonade was homemade and my daughter who lives for lemonade didn’t drink it. It was way too concentrated. Even after adding water, she didn’t drink it. That was a first and didn’t think was possible.
Felt like the waitress didn’t care either. Asked about the cost for the fries and received a very generic apology. Would’ve been nice to have clear prices.
Couldn’t pay me to go back and I visit the area 6-10 times a year. Save yourself time and money and go to a different restaurant in the area.

Waitress acknowledged us as we walked in. Waited at a table for over 10 minutes and nobody even brought us a menu. Will not be returning. Very disappointed with the lack of service. Save your time and go to a restaurant that will actually serve you food.

Stopped at this very friendly & homey little cafe for breakfast. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often, our coffees and teas were always full. The stuffed french toast was so flavorful that it did not need syrup and the homemade hash was a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend stopping here. ??

Place was about half full when we came. We got menus right away but then some confusion over who was going to help us as I noticed some people who came in after us get served. Friendly wait staff, she apologized for keeping us waiting. Took our order but she brought food we didn't order. Oh well, we ate anyway, and prices were fair. The pie looked good but we didn't get any, too full.

We went in at 1pm on a Thursday, one hour before they close. We all got burgers and chicken strips with french fries. The fries were GREAT, the burgers and strips were, meh, I could have made it at home ??♀️ The servers made us feel like they were rushing us out and our bill for 5 people was insane as well.
