My sister. niece and I had lunch here on Saturday the 5th of October, they were very busy so we had a little wait. I guess they call him Chef Dave must have seen we had been waiting a bit. He came out of the kitchen and had us sitting at a table and took our orders within a few minutes, he even delivered our food. I have always enjoyed the food here and was very impressed, thanks again Dave for your warm welcome and service. We will be returning.
We have come to this place for YEARS. A few months ago gave it 5 stars for the amazing duo that work down in the pickle barrel. And-BTW -what a great remodel. Just stopped in to enjoy a last Saturday of summer. Wow. What a difference. The hostess couldn’t have been ruder. It’s important to remember that when it’s warm and nice-it is NOT the patrons fault you are so overwhelmed. We waited to be seated-with several empty tables-for several quite some time all the while ordering drinks. We checked in a couple times and We gave up when it became too dark for us to stay. What a sour experience. Take notes from your downstairs staff-being busy and rude don’t have to go hand in hand. Now -for people reading reviews-please note -several visits we have had a great experience, but this time changed us and they won’t be a go to destination on a busy day again. Pickle-you guys are better than this!!

Went to the Pickle Factory to listen to Mojo Lemon and ordered a Grilled Rubin sandwich that never touched the grill. The bread was toasted, the meat looked precooked and pre sliced like grocery store meat. A whisper of cheese, not melted at all and cold sauerkraut. Very dry. Told the waitress and she suggested another beer.

If you’re going through Pepin on the Great River Road you’ve gotta stop here! I’m usually on my Harley and it’s the perfect place to get some tap beer (Castle Danger Sea Salt & Lime Ale!) and deep fried pickles. Also love their BBQ Pork Sandwich. Eat on the deck and have a commanding view of Lake Pepin!

The food is excellent! The staff is friendly! The view is incredible! Highly recommend!
Great place to sit on patio and watch the river and boats. Our 12 year old caught a 30 inch Pike casting from shore. Food was great!
Dietary restrictions: I requested a dairy free flatbread pizza and it turned out great.

When in the area we always stop by the Pickle Factory to grab a bite to eat. The location is great right off the water and the fried pickles are amazing. All the items we have had from here have been great. Make sure to stop by and check it out if you are in the area!

A group of us had lunch here back in August of 2021, and it was at least decent. We returned again for lunch in August of 2024, and things had obviously changed. Service was very slow - took over 10 minutes to get our drinks, basic Old Fashioneds, and one was mixed wrong while neither were very good. And this was around 2pm, so they really weren't very busy in the first place. Food, basic burgers and flat breads, also took over 30 minutes to show up, and one of those was also made/ordered wrong. Quality of the food was at least good, but the prices, especially based on the small quantities and the now a' la carte menu for things like fries/tots, really drove the prices way up. I get that bidenflation is killing restaurants and driving prices up, but I go out to dinner 3x weekly on average, and what we paid is well above what I see elsewhere. I was paying for me and 1 buddy, and it was $78 + tip for the two of us to have lunch with 3 drinks total.
